Here updating the First Part of my new story *Teenage Love*
Literally biting my nails here before posting. Reallyyy scared for it. So plsss do support me, avoid my mistakes

A small info about the terms used here 'katthak' and 'tabla' for those who dont know is provided below the update. It'll help you to have better knowledge about the whole thing 😊

PART-1

Agarwal Public School, Activity room-

He sat there on one of the chairs with his friends, yet again doing the same work, staring at his object of interest since few days, staring at HER. Everything about her was just too charismatic, her each polite gestures to bow down, her beauty, ohh lord, she could easily beat every beauty queens on this earth. AND above all, the deathly rare combo of beauty with brain. All knew her, afterall she was a constant topper since many years now. But no one could believe it looking at her, no proudy gesture, away from all those bitchy typical girls, she was divine, heavenly beauty, total to die for. And he was instantly attracted to her in just 1 look. Sighing softly he concentrated on what his friends were saying.. Stealing few glances at her way now and then.

She was sitting there quietly in one lone corner, away from all, thats what she liked loneliness. She was a simple girl, not too loud, neither those talkative types to chat non stop with her buddies, but she liked remaining quiet, not much of talking, just enjoy watching others having fun, thats fun for her. Just like that, right now she was enjoying her mad friends proving their madness, oogling at the boys present in the room, as if they hav'nt seen any boy in their lifetime. True they dont get to be around the boys, all thanks to their school shifts, morning shift for boys, noon shift for girls, something she could never understand. But anyways good for her, since she dont have to tolerate all those oogling eyes staring at her, kinda uneasy feel to realise all eyes staring at her as if she was some show piece.. Anyways why should she care, just 2 more days, once their annual function is over, all would be back to the places they beloged. Boys their path while girls their..

"Geeet... geet, did u see him, haaye kya banda hai yarr" it was Pari, one of her crazy friend, dreamingly looking at some random boy. Gosh! she is just mad.. "Pari, dont u have some better work to do than oogling at those boys?" "Better work!!!! What do you mean b.." her retort was interrupted as Mr. Saxena entered the room startling all. He was the incharge of all performances for annual function, also their Dance and Music teacher. Every student was on his foot to greet him. Geet too did the same with a soft smile.Nodding curtly at all he straight went to Maan and his group and was talking to him.

Mr. Saxena came to him inquiring about his practices for the function. He was totally into what sir was speaking. But as he talked about the girl with whome he was to practise, his head turned to where sir pointed, and he got a pleasant shock knowing its HER.

"Geet.." "Yes sir" she replied again standing up from her seat "Come here, meet maan, one of my favourite boy. He's the one who gonna play tabla for ur performance." Mr saxena introduced Maan to Geet as she came near them. A sudden gush of excietment ran through him with the knowledge. 'Geet', oww such a pleasant name, totally like her, sweet and soft. He saw her getting up and coming towards them. Oh god! just dont let him embarass with the building butterfly in his tummy on their first meet. But must say he perfectly hid his feelings, by hampering them from being displayed at his young dashing face.

"Hi!" "Hey!" was all they both say to each other. "Geet, i have already trained him with the music he needs to play on tablaa for sequence where u present ur skills with the spot light on you. Just you both need to coordinate your acts and practise hard together... Am sure you both can do that, right?" "Sure sir" geet said blinking her eyes. Maan too nodded.

"So, lets start the practise right now"

Silencing all, Mr Sharma sat on his chair, whereas Maan tuned his instrument and Geet took her position. Just as he started playing, some of the guys interrupted with their loud voices. Irritation was clearly visible in the eyes of the teacher along with the two. All this continued for long, preventing maneet to start their practise. Losing his patience Mr Saxena bashed each and every student there. He knew maneet won't be able to resume their practise so he just sent them to one of the empty classrooms so that they could practise in silence. They were already running out of time and this one performance was the concluding part of the show, so this needs to be the best.

In one of the empty classroom-

Both maneet entered the room with maan following her with his instrument in hands while geet had her ghungroo's. Both havnt spoken to each other yet. Quiet awkward!!

"Umm, let me just set up the tablas, then we could start" Maan tried to break the silence, while she replied with a slow hmm.. After sometime the room was filled with the melodious tunes of the tabla with chimes of geet's ghungroos. Maan was an expert in playing tabla, but his eyes were only stuck at the flowing angel in front. Her each movement so fluid yet her postures firm. Her face too expresssive. Geet is not at all expressive in personal, hence katthak was her only way of expression. This was total new avatar of her. Maan was slowly falling for her more and more.

Geet's performance was just FAB, the entire of the audience will get blown away by it. Surely one of the best flawless performances Maan have seen. He was just bowled away with her dance, and just couldnt help himself from complimenting her. "Beautiful..." maan said in trance startling poor Geet who was having some water after the tiring and energetic performance. "wo, i..i. mean ur performance, its just beautiful. Ha" maan mentally smacked himself for voicing his thoughts loudly, chi, that sounded too flirty, and immediately clearified further embarrassing himself .

Geet didnt knew how to react, be scared with the sudden advance from a complete stranger boy or feel happy with the compliment she recieved. So she just replied a nervous thanks with a small smile.

"Ahem, so you love katthak?" he tried to indulge her in some talks, the best way of knowing each other. "Umm yaa, i love doing classical dancing, specially katthak." yet again silence. This time it was geet who broke the silence "And, you too play tabla too well." maan softly bowed his head in gratitude voicing a thank you. "But why tabla? u see, its quiet too old instrument and someone like you playing it so effortlessly is something.." "wierd?" it was maan who completed her sentence with an arched eyebrow. "Umm ya, kinda wierd, dont mind but just curious.." she said "Not minding at all (with a smile). and if i ask you the same, why katthak, then what would be your answer to it?" "Answer is simple, coz i love katthak, dance is my passion and thus i love it, no second thought about it." "Exactly, so is with me, my passion is music, and all these instruments just transform this music into different forms. And transformation cant really change the actual meaning of music, can it? So, is the thing with tabla, my main motive is music, then be it from these tabla or the mordern guitar" he ended with a wink, making her smile brightly at him "And BTW besides this tabla, i can play almost all of the instruments, guitar, piano, sinthesizer, violen etc etc, wo toh bass there was no one available to play tabla for this performance, thats why i had to do it" he said. "Ohh, BTW what's your name?" "Oh, hmm Its Maan, Maan Singh Khurana... and you Geet right?" "Yeah, and I'm Geet Handa" saying so both shooked their hands. "You're the same maan from 10th A right? Rank holder since years?" "Yeah, same as you" while looked at him serprised. "What? toppers toh har baar main topic of interest hote hai, and specially for teachers. So like you know me, i know you" "Yeah, right" geet answered with a chuckle. Hmm he isnt such a bad company, instead she was liking his company. Never in this life she felt this comfort and ease with someone, that too in such short span of time. And his views and ideology was something remarkable, he indeed is something interesting Geet concluded in her mind.

Their talks continued for some time, during which both came to know many things about each other, like their aims in life which too coincidently happened to be the same, doing IIT after school. Maan came to know that she talks very less, but still he succeeded in indulging her in his conversation.

After several more practices in the presence of mr saxena, the coordination was set perfectly by the duo. They were all ready to rock the next day's function stage. Mr saxena finally dismissed all students after the final instructions. Maneet too collected their stuffs from the class room and left together towards the exit.
