Tanaaz is a choreographer too!

First of all nothing against this couple Tanaaz & Bakhtyar. I love their performances and wasn't surprised as Bakhtyar is a trained dancer/ choreographer. However I came across this link where Tanaaz has been listed as an assistant choreographer too. Usually this site imdb has correct information, so I don't have any reason to doubt it.

The point is that whether the show producers were aware of it or not. I am not saying this competition should only be for non dancers. As the show suggests there is no point in actors parading the stage in left feet. But having two choreographers as a couple is not right. I was rooting for this couple to win as I found Tanaaz to be competent and enthusiastic enough to share screen with Bakhtyar, but if this is true then this is unfair. I wonder how come the media which picks up everything else hasn't picked it up.

i think the idea of this show was completely different... it is NOT meant to produce dancing talent or choreographers for the film industry... it is meant ONLY to entertain the public and that is the reason they have celebrity couples there as they r popular and people would like to see them in a NEW avtaar as dancers - which is different from what they do in their evryday lives as televison actors... So i dont think anyone should have any problems BOTH with Non Dancers being on the show, as well as Trained Dancers being on the show... This is NOT a talent hunt show as indian idol or srgmp where the winners get opportunities in the singing field by winning the title... These r already established stars and are here just to entertain their fans... Mind you, they may not be here by choice, they may not be totally comfortable with dancing... Yet they r here for the fun, and to be a part of it... So we should enjoy their effort and not demean anyone for not being perfect, or being a specialist at it...

I dotn understand what this cryin about they being professionals? Well the channel knwe it so did the other contestant, and they did not object to it, means it fell within the NB rules. Now see them enjoy them, dont vote for them if you are not you fan but dont put them down. They are the biggest threat to all popular jodis, though I dont see them winning this one. Its a gut feeling..

it's no big deal...maybe tanaaz just choreographed for something really small..that doesn't make her a big choreographer

the show is about couple dancing.there is no rule that the couple has to b a non-dancer

if t-b r choreographers, it's definately an advantage to them

or if not..then STAR shuldn't have had them in their show

Really? And who told you Tanaaz Bakhtiyaar are choreos? what utter rubbish. Bakhtiyaar is a dancer who was in Farah Khan's troup, NOT a choreo. And Tanaaz to dancer bhi nahi hai. That imdb website is an idiotic one. They print all kinds of rubbish. Foreign media doesn't understand anything abt Indian ent industry. Netflix which is such a famous website has an article on Aishwarya Rai saying she is a singer with 50 albums to her credit!!!!!!!!! How come? Becoz these firangs don't understand that Bollywood stars lip sync to songs!!!!

Besides, the channel doesn't forbid people with dance training from participating. If it did, last year's Raajeshwari Sachdev would not have been allowed to participate because she has had 10 odd yrs of Kathak training. If she is allowed (and ppl wanted her to win) then why not Bakhtiyaar? Before going around posting that T and B are choreos, why don't you ppl bother to check facts?????
