Actor Ankita Lokhande, who shot to fame as Archana in 'Pavitra Rishta', is all set to bid adieu to her show.
According to sources, "Ankita has given a letter to production house stating that February 15, 2013 will be her last day on the sets. And soap queen Ekta Kapoor also has accepted it."
To get a clearer picture, we spoke to Ankita about her decision. "Well if you don't see me shooting on sets after 15 Feb then I am not a part of the show, but then if you see me I am still there," she replied.
When asked if Ekta Kapoor accepted the letter wherein she had explicitly mentioned that February 15, 2013 will be her last day on the sets, she remained tightlipped. "You will have to wait and watch. I really can't comment now," she replied.
If the buzz is anything to go by, the production house is discussing the issue with Ankita and will try to give her pay hike, all to ensure the show isn't affected.
