The film did release in theatres, but apparently they had to cancel shows due to the lack of audience for the film.

Why though, isn't Govinda popular in India? He was my favourite actor as a kid, wish he made a film with Sharukh..

Govinda's popularity has declined a bit over the years because of his flop films/lack of films. Also, this film was very delayed, and delayed films never work!

Govinda/SRK in the same film would be cool. The closest we got to that was the Deewangi song is Om Shanti Om!
