Sam: you have 2 options Rawte. (it was Arjun back then) chup chap yaha rukho... ya tho fir mere ghar chalo...(that line was the same)... mere saath...

Arjun kept staring at him. It was something that he had never expected. Commissioner knew the tension brewing in between them. so he thought to handle it.

Com: that's a good thought Sameer. Hai na Arjun?

Arjun was still not ready to accept it. all those days when he wished to be in some company was surfacing now. But he had distanced everyone form him in such a way that he didn't know how to get them back. Or rather he didn't know if he wanted to get them back.

Arj: nahi mien apne ghar jaunga...

Com: kaha? Uss lodge me ?? ya??

Arjun looked at him pleadingly. "kya mien apse kuch puch saktha hu?" (com nods) "Why are you doing this sir?" the eyes reflected lot of unanswered questions. The com came near to his bed,

"kya mien yahi sawaal tumse puch saktha hu Arjun?"

Arjun didn't want to answer. His mind was as if a vast ocean, with tides coming over and over again. And somewhere inside was a deep trench. A hollow deep trench. The one which was so hollow, that it even frightened him.

Com: we are waiting Arjun (he brought back Arjun from his thoughts) tho kya socha tumne?

All waited for a while. Mean while no one noticed Rathod. His eyes were constantly searching for that Arjun, who, once in the hospital bed was so eager to get out of the hospital, and to rush to any other part of the world, be it Rathod's home too... that day his mom was so happy that he got another son, who could be with Sameer at any hardship of life. Little did the Rajput lady know that fate had something else waiting for them. a sweet simple past was changed to such a tough present that even the nick names changed to the second names.

Com: (breaking the silence) ok then as you had decided Arjun, tum Sameer ke saath jaana nahi chahthe ho. Ok then till doc say, you will be here. Ye koi saza nahi hai Arjun, its just that I want you back as before. And I don't see any other option.

He decides to turn away but Arjun;s voice stopped him. "ok... I'm ready... jaise aap sab ke marzi..."

Riya turned to Rathod a little bit. She could see something shining at a corner of his eye. He just moved and met her eyes. She gave a small smile, and for that he closed his eyes fastly to take away the moist. She smiled at him assuaringly.

Doc: ok in that case, you will be discharged today evening. And before that I need to speak to you Mr. Rathod please come to my cabin.

Arj: aise kya hai jo mere samne nahi keh sakthe?

Doc: well for the time being, he is going to be your guardian, and I SHOULD speak with him, privately.

Arj: guardian?? Mere??

Sameer gave a smirk and Arjun was rolling his eyes. Com found this amusing. "ok then team, before I go I need to speak with Arjun about something important. So will you excuse us..."

The team left the room, and outside Rathod came to the doc, "Doc, waise mien zyada ghar pe nahi hoga... it will be my sis Riya over there. So if she could also..."

Doc: "sure, Riya aap bhi chaliye.."

they both move to the doc's cabin, leaving the rest 3.

Sh: waise chakkar kya hai?? it seems that comm sir know these 2 guys very well. Aur Rathod sir ke kehne se aise lagtha hai ke, ye dono kaafi ache dost bhi the.

Ais: ha. Aur wo dono ek hi training centre mien the. Fir kya hogaya hoga?

Ch: kya patha!! Aur ye Riya wali angle kya hai?? sir ke kaafi aas paas hi ghum raha hai!!

Sh: thab tho wo bohot pachthane wali hai!!

Ais: kyu??

Sh: pehle ye sir hai ithna akdu... aur unhe tho apne personal life ke aas paas bhi kisi ko aane nahi dethe...bechari Riya...

Ch: hm... ab dekthe hai ke kya hone wala hai!!

Doc's cabin:

Sam: kya hua doc? Kya baath hai?

Doc: as I had said earlier, Arjun ko zyada stress lena mana hai. baath sirf physical fitness ka nahi hai. ha zyada hilne se unka ghav bharne me time laga saktha hai. magar uss se zyada asar mental stress se bhi hosaktha hai. mujhe wo kaafi ajeeb laga. Jis tharah se wo apne zid pe reh rahe hai, I don't think wo apna khayal khud rakhega. That's why I said ke mien unhe yahi rakhna chahtha hu. Ab jaise ke wo aapke ghar aarahe hai, make sure ke wo zyada stress ma na rahe. Kuch aisa nahi hona chahiye ke wo zyada shout karna ya zor se uthne ka wajah bane. Sam: yes doc. I understand. Par uska gusse pe kabu karna ye tho thoda mushkil hai.

Doc: I know. Magar ye bhi dhyan rahe ke wo zyada idle bhi na rahe. You know, idle mind will creat more trouble. Aap chaho tho usse case discussions me involve rakh sakthe ho, just don't stress him out too much. Ab ye hai unke medicines ke list (he gives it to Riya) dhyan rahe antibiotics time pe hi lena chahiye. Ok. Then that's all.

Sam: thanks doc.

Outside the cabin:

Sam: kya hua Ri? Kya soch rahe ho??

Ri: yahi ke agar iss mission me hum paas hue tho hame bravery award milega...

Sam: mujhe tho lagtha hai ke hame param veer chakra hi milega...

She smiles at him with her dimples on.. "bhai aap bhi na??"

Arjun's room:

Arj: kya baath hai sir?

Com sits on a chair by his bed. "Arjun kya tum abhi bhi uss past me jeerahe ho? Wo sab hoke kaafi saal hochuka hai Arjun. try to move on"

Arj: kya apne dil ko kho kar, firse dhadkan ka intezaar kar sakthe hai sir?

Com: dekho Arjun, manta hu ke zindagi tumhare saath bohot nainsafi ki hai. magar hai ye bhi tumhare zindagi na?? usse apne liya nahi sahi dusro keliye tho ji lo...

Arj: wahi tho kar raha hu Sir. Aage bhi wahi karenge. Ek bar iss bed se uthne do, fir mien wapas office me..

Com: damn the office Arjun!! mien tumhare professional life ke bare me nahi personal life ke bare me baath kar raha hu.

Arjun was silent. He turns his face away from sir.

Com: mere tharaf dekho Arjun. is tarah nuh modne se kuch nahi hoga. Zindagi mien dosti bohot zaroori hai Arjun. aur ye tumse acha koi nahi jantha. Aur abhi bhi tumhare dost tumhara intezaar kar raha hai. usse ek bar mauka tho do Arjun, wo wapas zaroor ayega. Ab jo horaha hai, ye bas ek ithefaq nahi hai. shayad yahi likha hoga tumhare zindagi mien. Firse jeena sikho Arjun..

Com gets up to go out.

Arj: sir... agar aap uss din mere jagah hothe... tho kya karthe?? Jab pure duniya hi aapko galath sabit me tuli gayi hothi.. jab apne bhi aapke saath chod diya hotha.. jab apna sabse acha dost ko bhi aap par shak hone laga ho... tho aap kya karthe?? Kya aap sab kuch bhool ke aage bhadthe...?

Com just looks at him. He got his answers.

Arj: yahi hua hai sir.. mere zindagi mien bhi... it takes time.. kehne ko tho bohot hai sir... magar jiss din sab kuch keh dungi... uss din shayad mien apne aapko bhi maaf nahi kar paunga... bohot logonko chot tho pohonchayi hai meine... aur shayad usse zyada chot, mien apne aapko diya hai... usse aise hi rehne dijiya sir... kuch ghav aise hi rahna sabkeliye acha hai...

The com walks out with a heavy heart. He comes in front of Sam. He noticed a change on com's face.

Sam: kya hua sir? Aap aise udaas kyu hai?

Com: kuch nahi Sameer. Ek baath bolna chahtha hu. You are going to have a tough time with him. Wo abhi bhi kuch bhoolne ko thaiyar nahi hai. take care of your self and him. Kuch zaroorath pade tho bula dena. Bye.

He walks off.

Ri: what was that all about?

Sam: hamare award ka conformation letter. (he smiles sadly)

That evening Arjun is discharged from hospital. If anyone thought he was most pissed off with the bed, well its wrong. Its actually the wheelchair. He was furios to sit on that, but he was not in a state to walk even a little bit. At last he reached the home.

He was supported by Chotu and Sameer to his room.as he reached the room, he was too tired. Though he wished to sit up, showing the attitude, his body didn't allow him to. He was on bed, panting heavily. He glared at Sameer when he pulled a blanket on him, but now Sameer and Riya was ready for all those glares from him. They acted as if they didn't see it. the team went home after wishing Sam and Riya all the best. Well they needed it.

At night, Riya brought 3 bowls of soup to the room. And she was received with usual glare. And she ignored it. "dinner time..." she announced. He tried to get up and she went in to help. He stoped her by showing his hand that he don't need it. she crossed her hands on her chest and watched him. It was not easy. He couldn't get up. He was wincing and after some effort, he seemed to leave it.

Ri: ab mien help karu?

She asked casually. He looked at her, and without waiting for his answer, she helped him up. She held his shoulders, and balanced him to sit up and placed a pillow behnd him. He didn't have a choice other than letting her do it.

He looked at the 3 bowls. "ithna saara soup??"

Ri: sirf aapke liya nahi.

Arj: fir??

Sam came in "kyu?? Hum soup nahi pisakthe kya?" he took a bowl and sat on the couch, while she adjusted a moving table to his bed, so that the soup was right in front of him. He took a spoon and had a sip. While she looked on. He looked at her enquiringly. She got it. she sighed and took her bowl and had her soup. Both of them were noticing him at times.

Arj: tumhe ye sab karna ka zaroorath nahi hai. tum log table pe bait ke kha sakthe ho.

Sam: that's our wish tum bas ye soup pilo. Baaki hum dekh lenge.

After the dinner, she brought him the medicines and gave him. After that she took the bowls and went out.

Arjun was looking at Sam. "ab thanks ka wait kar rahe tho.. thanks."

Sam(frustrated): tumhe ye sab mazak lagthe hoge Arjun. mere liya nahi. You took care of me, when I needed it. I am doing the same.

Arj: oh..tho.. isiliye mujhe yaha laye ho??

Sam(gets up and goes to the door and then turns back): tumhe lagtha hai ke mien isiliye tumhe yaha laya hu? Unbelievable Arjun?? akhir kab thak mujhe saza doge tum?? Huh?? Forget it! mien bhi kisse puch raha hu?? Agar koi zaroorath pade tho bula dena! Mere aur Riya ke kamre paas me hi hai. good night!!

Arj: what?? Wo yahi rahtha hai?? pehle kyu nahi bathaya??

Sam: ha.. yahi rahthi hai!! aur kyu bathau?? Mere behen hai!! agar mere saath nahi tho fir kaha rahega?? Ab sojao...
