I did... I do not believe you have to go through the SAME exact pain to feel empathy. One can feel empathy by just being a good human being. Now that being said, you cannot measure loss. Loss is loss.

I am commenting on the following sentence and your example:

"That being said -- I also believe that some parts of it sound ridiculous because the parity of the loss is not the same. So, anandi in narrating her story must see the other side of the coin she received from her inlaws. "

Plz guyz atleast dont comment on the mother loosing pain !!! Ganga still has hope that she will gonna get her child back but Anandi's mother just died and she is never gonna see or touch her and it is one of the biggest pain of the world well according to me.Anandi's intention was to aware Ganga that loosing your dearest is the painfull but that doesnt mean that you should stop living totally for that pain.Rise and overcome the pain and live the life and if you have chance then bring your dearone back

It was simple sentence,which was used to put ganga on ease..

Agreed,

Anandi was just showing her support to Ganga .She was trying to infuse confidence in her by saying that good people still exist in the world who fight for the cause of wronged ones.

Anandi's sufferings in comparison to Ganga are less. Yes. But does that mean that she does not relate? No/

Her pain and Ganga's pain are something personal to them. how much they felt of that, they only know.

The one who is hurt knows what Pain is so we cannot just judge saying, Anandi suffered less because she felt less pain. That would be wrong to say.

But yes Ganga did 'suffer' more as she did not have the support of the inlaws.

Anandi did not sit idle because she was now at ease or suffered less at the hands of her in laws. etc. etc.

Rather she took that opportunity and made sure that she can help out as many people as possible who were suffering the ill-effects of child marriage.

Ganga is trying to survive right now.

Basically like we cannot say that Anandi is better than Ganga because she has done soo much for the society around her... as that would be unfair. Ganga did not get the opportunity as of yet. If she had been in A's place she would have done the same seeing how fiery she is.

Similarly we cannot Say Ganga suffered more than Anandi or felt more pain because, Anandi is not ganga and Ganga is not Anandi.

Both are balika vadhus ...with a story and a moral for the society to learn from.
