I've never been the one writing the story along with the writer of any show. I may like or dislike something but I have never dictated to the writers what they should be doing. It's their story and I have no right to tell them what they should do despite carrying a complaint box all the time. But, I do watch episodes like a sequence, the way stories are written.
I don't see characters from the prism of actors. I see them as characters and follow their changing shades and each character's growth and I am comfortable with both a dark R.K as well as a mellowed down version. I can defend everything and anything because I often like to make sense out of nonsense and see from a character's point of view and not mine (We often load our own expectations and desires on the characters) and be at peace. But this bizarre twist I am unable to figure out: What did I miss in the episodes shown till the promo aired?
As a person who does write and that too stories, I feel that there are always hints of twisted twist in the upcoming chapters. I won't push the reader right in the dark room without giving a hint about what is there in the dark room. I may hold back the real deal but will give enough hints that there may be something more sinister than it just being another dark room. Someone told me years back, never ever pull a trick on the reader, they won't like that.
I have no problem with R.K the Fiend but I do have a problem with the way the three-four months of R.K and Madhubala's journey were written. I am failing to remember a scene that told me, there is a catch and the dialogues are ambiguous.
What did I miss despite being a regular viewer?
