This may just be the staging for her to become a big artist, for her to finally taste what stardom feels like. It is really worth all that he is doing...

That can be attributed to his arrogance. Why does he want her to become the actress?

You didn't miss anything An. In retrospect we may now think oh RK did this or behaved like this and that was an indication but frankly we are just trying to find a justification. Its going to be very very difficult for the writers to justify what they've shown in the last 3-4 months. I have a feeling we will not be satisfied with the explanation either which is sad because I really admire how meticulous and precise the writers have been thus far...

As a reader or viewer, I hate to be taken for granted. It's one thing to fool a character in a story and an entirely different thing to take a reader for a ride.

You are absolutely on the dot. Some hints, even red herrings are okay...are usually thrown in and a careful reader usually picks up on them. But here, nada!

Except for RK's incomprehensible love declaration or a certain unfathomable (to me, at least) and fleeting look in his eyes when he returns to Madhu after the MU when she first refuses to go away with him and, of course, his reluctance to say "I Love You", back to Madhu (and, some posts here saying he was doing it for revenge), I didn't see that coming.

It's either extremely poor writing/imagination or an extremely clever and devious one.

We'll see which one it is in a few days.

Btw, did you notice that when he first entered the village his ego was hurt that some of the villagers did not recognize him, and he didn't easily fit into the rural environment. Is it because he never intend to leave his acting career and stardom? It seems like a game to him...

That is Ego and he is the Super Star and he loves the adulation and it'll hurt if someone does not recognize him (It takes time to get used to a different life). But, that does not tell us that he wants to push Madhubala in the film world and take revenge.

Swan Yep, that is why I am cribbing so much because the writing has been quite good and they have rarely forgotten what they have shown in the previous scenes/episodes. This looks like another Non-Existent-Sister (Annie) out of writers' hat. 😆😆😆

Bold: Same here.

All that also does not lead us to the "I am Still in Revenge" mode track. I hope it's not extremely clever writing as I don't like that kind of writing.
