TAM has released data for five weeks for new HSM that includes five LC1 markets ' Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, PHCHP and Rajasthan. According to viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for the CS 4+, HSM markets, Hindi general entertainment channels have witnessed a huge shift in viewership pattern due to the inclusion of the 5 LC1 markets. Star Plus has emerged as the distant leader in Week 5 of TAM 2013. Zee TV is at No. 2. Colors remains stable At No. 3 in the new HSM data but Sony has witnessed a huge shift in GRPs. SAB and Life OK remain at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.
Star Plus has returned to No. 1 position with a huge margin. The channel has recorded 281 GRPs this week (last week 233). Star Plus averaged at 258 GRPs during Weeks 1-3 in the new HSM.
Zee TV slips to No. 2 with 214 GRPs in the new HSM (last week 245). The channel averaged at 214 GRPs during Week 1-3 in the new HSM.
Colors remained at No. 3 with 210 GRPs (last week 195). Colors averaged at 219 GRPs during Week 1-3 in the new HSM.
At No. 4, Sony Entertainment Television has seen a significant fall. The channel has recorded 159 GRPs this week (last week 186). The channel averaged at 174 GRPs during Weeks 1-3 in the new HSM.
SAB TV has recorded 134 GRPs (last week 145). It averaged at 145 GRPs during Week 1-3 in the new HSM.
Life OK continues at No. 6 with 121 GRPs this week (last week 114). Life OK averaged at 115 GRPs during Week 1-3 in the new HSM.
