PART 14:

Kushi was reading a book in her room but she couldn't concentrate.

She wanted to check up on Arnav. She wanted to make sure that he was ok. She thought of calling him but looked at the clock it was 12 so she decided to text him instead

Kushi texted him saying Hi awake???

Here Arnav was also unable to sleep as he was feeling bad that he unnecessarily shouted on Kushi when she wanted to make him better. When he was lost in deep thought he heard message tone from his mobile. Irritated that someone has spoilt his thought process, that too late at night he checked his mobile grumpily.

The minute he saw the sender he got a big smile on his face. The message was from Kushi.

He quickly replied saying ya.

Kushi who was eagerly waiting for his reply jumped and looked at the phone as soon as she heard the message tone.

She saw his reply. Just ya? No hi hello. Once a lad governor will always be a lad governer.

Kushi what are you thinking you know he might already be upset about his sister leaving. He's replied now you are scolding him. She chided herself and started replying to his message

Are you ok?-K

Yes I'm ok what about you?-A

What about me? I'm perfectly fine'-K

Hmmm so why have you messaged me? Anything spl?-A

Shouldn't I message message you simply? I thought we were friends now. Ok I won't text from now on bye'-K

Arnav saw this message and felt bad. He dint want her to stop messaging. In fact he liked messaging her. It was a new experience for him. He was not used to casual texting much. He only texted when it was necessary. But he liked chatting with Kushi. He just asked this question to extend the conversation. So he decided to do something which has never to anyone. Apologize to her.

I'm sorry din't mean it that way. I just asked cos its late. I would have never replied if I dint want to talk to you.-A

Hmmm I'm also sorry for over reacting. I just wanted to make sure you are alright.-K

Ya am fine. And sorry for shouting at you unnecessarily before leaving.-A

It's ok I understand. You were upset about your sister leaving. I shouldn't have blabbered nonsense.-K

I don't have many friends. I've 3 best friends N.K, Aman and Akash that's it. Other than that there are Lavanya, payal and priya and Shruthi in our gang that's it.-A

Ya I don't talk much with them much. But I could say Lavanya is my good friend. But not as close as the guys obviously.-A

Kushi got jealous hearing about Lavanya. She dint know why but she dint like the fact that Arnav was close to a girl

Arnav got really happy that she was texting only him. But then he was curious to know with whom she texts so late.

Ok normally with whom do you chat so late?-A

With Samantha and Sid. Mostly only Sid cos Sam has a bf so she'll be busy talking with him late night..-K

Arnav dint like that she chats with a guy so late that too almost everyday. He wanted to know more about that Rahul.

Oh so Sid is your best friend huh?-A

Ya my best best friend. Sid, Sam and I are best friends right from lkg. My other best friends are Pooja, Vinay and Arjun'-A

Ya we're more than best friends. We're partners in crime. You know we do everything together. And you know what. He too has got admission in the same medical school as mine. I'm so happy that we'll be together. We even joke saying if we don't get anyone else we both'll marry each other. Funny na ?-K

After reading this message Arnav's anger was beyond limits. He was feeling so jealous. He dint know why he's feeling irritated. He hated this Sid guy without even seeing him. He dint want to listen more about him so he thought its better if he stops messaging otherwise he might snap at her anytime and he dint want to spoil the new found friendship between them and go back to fighting.

Ok. Gonna sleep bye Gnsd-A

After sending the message Kushi too decided to sleep as she was really tired and she had to get up tomorrow for some rituals for Anjali and Shyam.

Both of them drifted into sleep in each other's thought...
