Episode 187 Discussion: 5th Feb 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Episode 187 Discussion - EOD Summary

Adventures of Rishbala: Trip to Ajja-Ajji's Village.

Part IV- Madhu takes blessings from Ajji for successful married life and RK and Madhu return home amidst Mass hysteria of the Shocking and insensible Marriage Promo shown by Colors for MEIEJ and ST's Tweet about Big Twist.

Events of the Episode and the Day

Still Viewers reeling under Colors Promo and Sourabh Tewaris Big Shocking Twist coupled with TB new article based on the Promo perception and mouthing the word "revenge" which set everyone's mood off further.
Majority have watched the episode with suspect mind, looking for catching fake act from RK.
Episode Summary - Read Soundarya's over Page 1 - last post.
Redemptive elements feeded in to the revenge drama:

When RK refused..."Nahin Madhu"
When he said Sorry,"Mujhe Maaf Kar do" for something other than what Madhu was assuming.
When Ajji gave green bangles to Madhu and empowered Madhu against ill-luck through her blessings.
When in the car they played their game and RK said...no matter what ...you will always copy me.
When Madhu said "you say something convincingly true and yet your eyes speak something else and I will catch that"
When RK said..."this is the last day we are stepping into this house...and he will go back to his scotch and Chicken along with her love...

i was biting my nails through out the episode. suspense is killing me.😳
each n every word and move by rk seems like having double meaning.
i dont understand why rk is PROTECTING him self😃. i dont believe this 7 pehere marriage. there is some thing else.

Yesterday - Good Episode - Pages activity in ED thread was 8 with around 2900 views as of now
Bad and painful news - Pages activity in Media, New Tracks discussion was 15 with more than 5000 views.

So UNREST sells and therefore the ARMS DEALERS WANT WARS to HAPPEN. 😆

TWISTS Sell and therefore the Creatives resort to Weirdest Story Telling in the name of ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN

Its BAD isn't ...that a Real Man is as much a puppet of oligocharchy in the world...HE is MADE a CONSUMER, a forced consumer of everything...the Oligarch leaves us no venues to break free from those shackles. Life starts with an oligarch as we get up and our bed tea...The packaged tea in its various varieties, the milk that is no longer natural...and we want to question somethings, but we won't get the answers anyways...so what's the point of even asking ???? Leave the brain in some closet and get on with your day...Need to go to office ...to earn ...to serve the oligarch, to serve his needs...

I will be honest. How are we supposed to discuss today's episode without bringing in the recent promos and articles? Today's episode was full of foreboding. I cannot write a subjective review on it ignoring all the undercurrents. Kindly let me know. If not, I will post most of my thoughts in the media thread.

Okay so it looks like RK really wanted to get close to Madhu today but something stopped him? He wants to get close but can't take advantage of her physically. Don't know what to make of it.

Sigh! I haven't watched today's episode yet. I'm not in much of a mood to.

Actually, when I first heard about the twist promo, I was excited. Finally, we would be moving on to the heroine track, something I've been waiting for with great anticipation. But, as time passes, I can't help grieving for the now-to-be-broken (hopefully temporarily) relationship. We're all going to feel Madhu's pain, and how. How much will she hate herself for offering herself to him so unreservedly!!!!

I was explaining this new twist in the tale to my kids (they know about my MEIEJ addiction). My 8-year old, who is a big fan of Percy Jackson( the teen hero of Rick Riordan's "Heroes of Olympus" stories), assures me that it is a sign of a true child of Aphrodite (the Greek Goddess of Love) to make someone fall in love with them and break their heart. Apparently it is a rite of passage for Aphrodite's children, at least in Rick Riordan's universe! So RK is a true child of Aphrodite indeed.

Episode summary:

Madhu tells RK, she loves him and is ready to do anything he asks her to do. He carries her to the bed, and gradually begins by taking out her bindi, earrings. Suddenly, his expression changes and he stops himself. Madhu goes upto him and asks him...is it because you want to do the pheras?? He does'nt answer the question, instead he apologises to her, she understands and hugs him. kaka comes and knocks on the door and says, the car is ready. They are ready to leave...kaka and kaki bless the couple, kaki gives her green bangles as a symbol of togetherness.

In the car, RK and Madhu play a game asking each other true or false questions. Disclaimer, am not bothered about his questions because he can read her so well, he has her twisted around his litttle finger. She on the other hand, is so confident, and innocent, but her innocence now seems so ominous. She asks him if he loves her, and answers herself saying he does. She also asks him..when is he happiest, he says when he is with her! Trick question for us: true or false. How do we try and understand his answer..I believe...true...if it were not for the buts, howevers, agars, magars.

His apology to her...his answers to her, in the light of recent developments, we ordinary mortal viewers can take whatever interpretation out of it...in other words, take it, lump it, forget it. Ok, he does ask her if she is ready to leave with him the next evening, she replies yes.

RK mansion:

Radha and Padmini are chatting, Dipali and sikky are listening half interested. the couple walks in at the corridor, RK tells Madhu, that this is the last time they will be entering this house. And he says, he is happy if he has her, scotch and chicken. Madhu gets teary and upset.

padmini is happy seeing them safe, gets up to leave. Madhu asks her to stay, but malik and Roma are leaving on an outdoor shoot (ahaa!). RK sees Madhu's face and persuades her to stay a bit longer. Dipali notices madhu's mood and is wondering about them.

Pre-cap: Paddy and Radha are cooking together, and joking around. madhu is in tears seeing them. RK pulls her and asks her to control herself. Dipali overhears their convo.

Few points:

SR does not happen. That saves RK in my eyes a little bit, just a teeny weeny bit. ...a dot actually.
Nothing to analyse...except that between tomorrow and friday, something changes. Or not? it seems like there's a plan in place.
Where is bittuji? Red flag..
Is Dipali again in the picture ? Sorry pun unintended. Am not going to talk about this fantastical story that is floating around, which actually makes a lot of sense to me, though it is heart breaking. I have mentioned it in the future track thread.
From today to saturday, one episode at a time.

I always knew it would'nt happen today. We are setting the stage for a revenge track and return of the prodigal lover as well. Hedging is the name of the game.

Sorry SD...no more on this, will move to future track discussion. let me know if I need to move this as well.
