TOI: Quit Amrit M. on mutual-Dimple

Life OK's AmritManthan is all set to take leap of 7 years and accordingly the storyline will see a change with kids entering the show. Of late there was a buzz in the media on Dimple Jhangiani to quit the show.

However, she has already stopped shooting for the show since long time and Dimple will be no more part of the show post leap. Sources says that Dimple's character will be shown dead, where her character will be breathe last while giving birth to her first child. The actress has informed the production house on her quitting the show a month back so that they could make changes in the storyline accordingly, " It's a mutual decision to quit Amrit Manthan as after my re-entry in the show, I was not satisfied with my role. All that was not enough as post leap my character was going to grow old, being a mother to a kid. Hence it is better to stop or kill the character instead of portraying it unwillingly," confirms Dimple.

" I respect Rajan sir, he is my god father and I respect him a lot because immediately after my character was declared dead in Amrit Manthan, he offered me his telefilm so that I don't feel bad that was something I will never forget," she goes on.

Being a hardworking girl, Dimple has no plans to move abroad or take any deliberate break but is open to offers from the industry. "I love my Amrit Manthan team and will always miss them. At the same time I also in search of good roles which excites me," signs of Dimple.
