What do you watch BV for?

Hi,

After reading the messages flooding the Forum the past few days, I am a bit confused about whether some of us love or hate BV.

If we hate it, why don't we quit watching it?

And if we love something, should we stop liking the other things?

Please help me understand your reasons for watching BV.

Comments and counter-comments are expected and welcome.

Verbal kabaddi is not. Please refrain.

PS: I watch it because of the hope it brings to my life daily - that there are bad situations but good people.

4 ansh only...2 be vry honest if they vl shw only ansh scenes i vl be vry hpy...infact smtime i change d channel on ds or other scenes.

i watch is for ansh and there love story and but at the same time.. i love entire plot of bv.. and every character of bv..

Since BV has started there are so many reasons to watch BV for me and the reasons keep changing time to time but right now my sole reason to watch BV is AnSh love story not for that this is a love story but it is really good to see that one victim of bal vivah is getting a blessed life and she is allowed to start a new life and yes still now there is such thing called unconditional love which AnSh is showing us

For hope that A brings to me...for the hope that men like S exist and for the hope relationships like ansh can be a reality 😳

Yes, u are absolutely right... there love story is differently nuanced, unlike the OTT romance being shown everywhere else.

When BV started, I watched a few episodes, but when innocent child Anandi was subjected to all the tortures by DS particularly burning her books, her dreams getting shattered, I could not take it and stopped watching. A child of 8 bearing the burden of being the haveli's beendni and expected to behave on these lines was very saddening. I can never forgive people who destroy children and their dreams/rights.

Grown-up Anandi - must confess watched a few episodes, but again this became too painful - Jagya destroying her emotionally, destroying her self confidence and all those scars that are impacting her life even now.😕

May 2012 really brought lot of hope and from then on I started watching it regularly. It is a pleasure to see A so confident, tackling situations, handling people with her unique empathy and life's experiences. I watch it for the hope the serial brings in and the wonderful love story of Ansh. Wish I could select both the options.😳

I selected 'For the hope that BV brings to our lives' as Ansh symbolise the hope that BV brings to our lives.

I love Ansh too, but I feel that they gave us only sweetness everyday, we would soon feel like gagging. We need a bit of salt, spice, and bitterness to keep us balanced😊
