Because, there would be police inquiry about the shooting and Zoya is the eye witness, moreover she has fought with the goon, so she has to be there till the inquiry progresses. Hope by then Dilshad recovers and Asad will get to know the truth.

Zoya was not the eye witness it was Mariyam,Zoya came later on.

True, but she was the one fought with the man and tried to unmask him, so her witness is more important for a case( my CID experience😉)
