"Mishty, I know that you are angry. But you listened to karan right? Geet don't you believe your maan?" asked maan hurt. How can she say no, of course she trust him more than her life. "Its not that I don't trust you maan, I felt betrayed again when I heard talking you to papa about karan. All these days you know about him and didn't bother to tell me. that killed me maan, chakar bhi main tumko nafrat nahi kar sakti. Today I am living is just because of you" cried geet in his chest. Maan sat beside her pulling her close to him. He hugged her close to his heart soothing her.
"Are you still angry on me?" asked maan expecting answer as a big no, but to his luck exactly opposite happened. Though geet hugged him tight she nodded for a yes. Maan sighed and also knows she is showing her fake anger. Whatever it may be he has to face it and should manofy her now. Here geet is still thinking of karan, what if he is also acting like his dad. She just cant trust that man, but maan knows him from many years, he may be right? All these questions are eating her brain. "Geet" called maan coming out of the hug. She looked at him with teary eyes, maan raised his hand and wiped her tears.
"Geet, please if you punish me, beat me or scold me but don't cry. You know mishty, I cant see you in tears that too because of me" requested maan. Geet tried to smile which even didn't reach her lips. They heard someone calling them, when maan looked ahead its abay. Maan gave a slight nod. He told geet, abay and his family is waiting for them. Geet got up, they both went in plastering a smile on their faces. Dinner was as usual normal affair, talking with each other. No one talked about karan so that geet wont feel sad or uncomfortable.
After dinner everyone settled in hall while geet is in her room lost in some deep thoughts. She heard a knock on the door. "Yes, come in" told geet. Rajni entered in the room with a small bowl of ice cream. Geet smiled at her. Rajni gave bowl to geet and caressed her hair. "Are you happy geet?" asked rajni. Geet looked at and gave a small smile. Of course she is happy to meet maan. "Then why you are sad?" asked rajni. Geet hugged her tight, rajni smiled knowing her inner turmoil. "Geet, knowing about your brother is so big that you are actually forgetting that you met your maan too, hmm?" asked rajni.
"No mama, nothing like that. Mama I met maan after 6 long years I am so happy for that, I cant even express that but knowing about his son'. " geet was cut by rajni. "Geet, I want to tell you one thing. First of all I know how you are feeling but geet just for once think about karan. He is also away from his parents. Even karan should be angry on you right?" asked rajni. Geet looked at her confused. Rajni cupped her cheek, "Beta, your mom came into your dad's life after his mom. Then he should angry on you and your mother that because of you he is away from his dad for so many years. But no, he is angry on his dad and mom for spoiling these many lives and he loves you, even apologized you. Haina?" asked rajni. Geet nodded in a yes and understood what she is saying. "I am not asking you to accept as your brother. I know that you are angry on maan, dear just talk with him and clear all the mis-understanding. Your friendship is big not these all" told rajni and kissed her forehead.
Geet once again hugged rajni thanking her. "I am so confused mama what to do. But you made it all simple. Thank you so much mama" thanked geet. Rajni smiled at her and told "Hmmm someone asked me, he wants to take you with him. Do you want to go with him. if not tell me I will tell him you don't want to go with him" teased rajni. "No no no mama, I will go with maan" told geet and realized what she told. "Wo.. wo.." fumbled geet. "Pack your bag now maan is waiting for you" told rajni smiling and left from there. Maan who stood outside smiled at rajni. "Thank you aunty" thanked maan. Rajni patted his cheek, "Take care of my daughter" told rajni. Maan smiled at her going into geet's room. He is silently adoring her, smiling at her pouting face.
"Rano maa, you don't have to worry about geet. She got a mother just like you, who takes care of her and love her unconditionally" thought maan. He is awed to see rajni talking with geet and clearing her confusion, no one can say geet is not their daughter. Geet is also so attached with them. Maan heart is at peace knowing about this family more and more, the slight worry is also now totally gone. Geet is definitely in safe hands. The mere thought made maan smile and he thanked almighty for sending Raichands in geet's life.
Soon geet too completed her packing, they all left to Khurana Guest House. Geet directly went to maan's room throwing the bag on the couch, she lied on the bed waiting for maan. Other wished good night, retired to their respective rooms. Aparna thought geet will stay in her room, but what does she know when they were in India they use to sleep this way and even now. Everything may change but not their friendship. Here maan entered his room only to see geet waiting for him. He silently went and settled beside her. Geet saw him and placed her head on his lap. Maan is just caressing her hair, "Maan" called geet. "Hmm" came a reply. "I am sorry" said geet. Maan looked at her confused "For over reacting" geet cleared his confusion.
"Its not any over reacting geet, I am just supporting both of you. I know when you will know the truth, you will definitely be angry on me. He is nice geet, I can easily tell that and he loves you. I am telling you accept him but not hurt him. He is ready to help you in any way" told maan kissing her forehead. "Hmmm" came as a reply. "Are you still angry on me" asked maan. "I don't know" told geet. "What is that reply?" asked maan. "What you did is right? But I still cant accept that you hid it from me" told geet. "I am sorry" repeated maan again. "I am sleepy" told geet shifting her head on the pillow. "At least change to night dress" told maan. Geet lifted herself lazily and asked for the bag. Maan rolled his eyes, everything may change but not geet and her laziness.
Geet went to washroom to change, while maan removed his shirt and went to wardrobe. He too changed into vests and pant. Both of them went to bed. The night is so peaceful, geet forget everything and enjoying their togetherness. An unknown happiness engulfed geet being with maan. She is head over heels in love with maan and maan's feelings are obvious. But still geet is thinking that maan is her best friend. How geet will come to know about her feelings to maan?
Next day morning, by the time maan got up geet is still sleeping like a small baby, her hair is all messy he smiled and tucked the strands. Her curved into a smile, maan kissed her forehead and got up. He went to washroom freshened up, he is wearing his pant, leaving his upper part bare and came out. "Princess Geet, get up" called out maan, but geet is still in her sound sleep. "Ufff geet get up" called out maan again applying get to his hair. Maan saw geet not even moving a little. "ohoo" thought maan and pulled up the curtains so that sunlight fall on her face, as expected the sun light fell on her face. But maan is lost in her angelic face which is glowing in the sun light. Geet slowly opened her eyes, she again closed her eyes because of the sun light, she again opened her eyes adjusting to the light. She saw maan looking at her intently.
Geet got up and sat on the bed, still there is no movement from maan. "Maan" called out geet, maan jerked and cursed himself for what he is doing. "Good morning geet" wished maan and immediately turned other side too hide his embrassment. He took out a shirt and put it on. By the time he turned towards the bed, geet is gone to washroom. Maan sighed, "Maan, tu control kar. If geet comes to know you are drolling on her, she will eat me alive" cursed maan and immediately rushed out of the room. Here geet is brushing her teeth lost in her thoughts. First something in maan's eyes which she is not able to understand and second maan standing in front of her without his shirt which made her blush. When maan turned to take his shirt geet rushed to washroom not knowing what to think or how to react.
"Ufff babaji yeh main faltu mein kya soch rahi hu" shrugged her shoulders, took shower and came out. She got ready and came down to see all are waiting for her. She saw even karan too didn't give much importance, still rajni's words are ringing in her ears. Her eyes caught the packed luggage beside karan, "So he is really going to India. So what let him go, why should I bother" thought geet. They had breakfast silently. But the words came from maan made geet angry. "Geet, I am thinking to arrange body guards for you" told maan. geet dropped the spoon and is ready to pounce on him. But maan seeing her angry face and red nose told "I am just joking" told maan nervously.
Geet sighed and told "Better", all of them giggled at maan's plight. Geet completed her breakfast and got up. "I don't want anyone to spoil their career because of me" told geet and left from there to hall. It took other to know what exactly she told, maan smiled at karan while karan is still unsure what to do. Aparna taking the opportunity took his bag and kept it in his room. "Appu, what are you doing?" asked karan. "Now nothing doing, you are not going to India and that's final" told appu and left from there. Karan has no other option but made sure that he wont come in front of geet.
Later all of them left to Uni, geet and maan in maan's car others in one car. They entered the Uni and maan parked his car. He is having his googles on, geet as usual in a pair of jeans and shirt simple yet sexy. Girls looked at the new car entered into the Uni, they are eager to know who it is. When maan got down of the car, all the girls gasped seeing the new hotty in their Uni. As usual they are drolling over him, as his first 3 buttons are open exposing his well toned chest. Geet looked here and there and saw girls are drolling over maan, I mean HER maan. just then she observed his shirt and its buttons. Geet pulled maan aside and came in front of him. "What happened geet?" asked maan. "See how girls are drolling, sharam nahi hain tumko aise buttons kholke rakhne ke liye. Chi chi chi babaji" scolded geet and buttoned them. Maan smiled at his jealous geet. He is thoroughly enjoying her plight.
But but but maan too looked over those girls but his eye caught a group of boys who are giving dirty looks to geet, his blood boiled seeing them. "From tomorrow wear some T-shirt not these exposing shirts" warned geet for which maan nodded like a obedient student. They both came out of the parking lot maan pulled close to him with his hand on her waist. "Ohhh charity case with a new guy today" came a voice from back. All the girls of that group laughed and hi-fied each other.
