EA at Ekta’s card party -22nd Oct

The queen of soaps served many aces at her annual Diwali card party on 22

November. It commenced an hour before midnight, with paparazzi at her Juhu Krishna Bungalow snapping away at her guests as they alighted from their cars. And the guests were many: Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Samer Nair, Sanvari Alagh, Eijaz Khan, Akashdeep Saigal (Sky), Ritu and Gautam Seth, Shilpa Saklani (without husband Apurva), Shabbhir Singh 'Shabs' Ahluwalia, Ram and Gautami Kapoor, Anita Hansnandani, Vivan Bathena, Anupam, Sujeet Kumar, The Indian Telly Awards founder Anil Wanvari among many others. Ekta Kapoor herself looked stunning in a black designer saree.

Yummy watering snacks and unlimited liquor flowed through the night. Groans were heard as card players at some of the tables lost heavily on the teen patti

games. And other yelps of joy as the winnings of some of the guests increased. Ekta moved around on several of the tables but settled for a while at one which had some of her closest friends right from Sky to Shabs. And it was on that table that Ritu kept her winning streak, pocketing oodles of moolah in the process. Those from the TV crowd who lost heavily - at least until three thirty - included Sky and Shabs. The card party continued until the wee hours of the morning, amidst a lot of merry making
