AVM Kumaran's new serial Saradha
A new serial is orignally telecast by Raj TV From September 4, 2006, Monday - Thursday 8 p.m. But it is aired in Deepam TV in UK from monday 2 Friday @ 5.30pm
Saradha (Deepa Venkat) is a middle-class girl. She has a widowed mother, a sister - Kalpana (Neelima Rani who came as Shakthi in metti oli and Rehka in Kolangal) and a brother - Shiva (Sorry i dunno his real name). She completes her studies in law and joins popular lady lawyer Padmini (Nalini actress who is the villi of the serial) as junior. She dreams of becoming a famous lawyer.
Padmini's main goal is to become a judge in the High Court. She hatches a plot to catch a big goonda Surya (Sanjeev who comes as Solai in Penn)and his gang. This is the time when Saradha joins Padmini as junior. Surya makes use of Saradha without her knowledge and escapes from the clutches of the case. Padmini thinks Saradha is the reason for this and has her arrested. Surya repents for this and ensures Saradha's release from jail
Padmini now regards Saradha as her enemy and starts taking revenge on her and her family. Saradha has no option but to ask Surya for help. Surya, in spite of being an anti-social element, is a good-hearted person. He falls in love with Saradha. But Saradha loves lawyer Prakash (Vishwa "my crush for last 6 years" looks gorgeous in that lawyer outfit n reason 4 watching the serial ❤️. He also comes as Akash in Penn and Karthik in kolangal with those handsome glasses.
Another storm begins when Kalpana falls in love with Padmini's son, Prem (Deepak who acts as Selva in Bandham, Ramesh in Margaral, the twins in Selvi, he's famous these days.)
Saradha's mother has a genuine and true friendship with Arunachalam. He has helped Saradha's family a lot. He has an enmity with Padmini which is an important knot in this serial.
Kamakshi, a widowed doctor, looks after her mother-in-law's family of a son and three daughters. They also like Kamakshi more than their mother. The problems Kamakshi faces in this family is another important aspect in this serial.
Kamakshi's husband was murdered and that too by none other than Padmini. Kamakshi wants to take revenge for this.
One side is the Padmini-Saradha angle. The other side has the Padmini-Kamakshi story. The relationship among Kamakshi-Padmini-Saradha is revealed in a shocking way as the serial progresses.
The serial revolves around factors like family bonding, revenge, love and crime. It is an interesting serial of twists and turns with family values, says its spokesperson
