hi frnds!! this is ruchika.. Have been following ur posts since some time.. they are truly amazing..
well ne thing which always make me wonder why man like asad always like to run away from their true feelings? why do they think that its better to console themselves by saying " she means nothing to me" instead of trying to work on their emotions? why do they feel over-burdened just by the thought of being with someone and try to end it as soon as possible?
sorry for being random.. i find it little confusing at times..

now i am confused.😕
you watch the show regularly and you said "you were following Vicky's post for some time now". she gives a wonderful analysis to each n every episode that even a minor detail doesnt escape her eagle eyes. and the episode is discussed and questioned by members, so there is no leaf left to turn over.
to clear your confusion i suggest you watch the show again n read Vicky's post from beginning
.
The character of Asad is not a flat character,it is a round character which is developing as the show is progressing. the male chauvinist from 1st episode has turned into a touchy and anxious one. cant you see the difference. it takes time n understanding to come out of a self made shell.

beautiful post. your prose is almost poetry.👏

the fact that humeira will not force her love on ayan is as important as the fact that raziya will do anything to force her will on everyone. casts an interesting tint on their back story.

high point of the day, for me, was the rashid raziya talk, (though i was creeped out,) the desperation was expressed poignantly.. and the anticipation just upped a notch.

Insightful post, Victoria.

Although the lead characters are weighed down by their past, what interest me and I'm sure most of the audience, is the lightweight interactions! I loved it how Zoya deflected Asad's questioning and flustered him by saying are you interested in me! LOL!😆 Asad forgot why he came snooping down and sheepishly tried to defend himself! That was a classic moment. But his senses are getting blunt and thank God, the creatives made him come back and inspect the store room otherwise he would have been a kala dhabba in Bond's name! 😆

Personally I don't like the fact that Zoya is not divulging Mariam's stay to Asad but since it's a serial and this hide and seek can bring out some comical moments, so be it!

PS. I love gutsy Humeira!

I'm getting addicted to reading your write-ups.
Marvellous is one word for them.

When the characters have several layers and dimensions aded to them, they intrigue you, entice you and you start finding yourself entangled in their struggles, behaviour, feelings. That is the bliss when you watch or read carefully scripted characters. Qubool Hai is going great at that end.

And then comes your write up, like icing on the cake...explaining them, dissecting them analysing them, opening layer by layer...

it was awesome.

Esp. loved your description of Humzie...right, she doesn't want Ayaan like alms in a bowl, so she refuses even when she had the chance to have him. She wants him as a man in love with her. Her character will make any girl feel proud of her !!!

Keep writing gal.Kudos !!!

Humzie- Fragile almond-eyed nymph like beauty weighed down by the rocksolid weight of an unrequited love , she lives life like a tear drop in the rain. Like Zoe, her shoulders do not slump , but her eyes give her away. She has the strength of spirit and her love has pride. She doesn't want Ayaan as alms in a bowl. She wants him as a man in love with her. She cries, she falters , yet she refuses to let the world see how broken hearted she is. She holds her pretty head high , throws away Ayaan's hand and says it in regal self respect - Ayaan, hum kya paagal hain, jo aapse nikaah karenge?

This is what I love about QH - Pretty Humeira was the high point of yesterday's epi, for me. It was not the least bit unexpected, yet it was simple and beautiful. And Humeira has been on my mind more than AsYa today. You have written it down beautifully.👏
