Fight scenes were unrealistic earlier also but nowadays just too outlandish. It's the Rajnikanth effect. It's crass and Bollywood didn't deserve it. But people have begun to see it as comic relief rather than actual action. I've mostly laughed through all these South remakes! Never took them seriously or even paid attention like I did to films like Deewaar or Kalicharan (though those are not entirely realistic either).

Such outlandish fight scenes are such a turn off. Forget about fight scenes...even in simple actions like the hero walking on the street...we see mud flying all around as if he's an elephant. W*F is that?

Which is why i liked Don 2 so much, the action in that was awesome.

I know right? W*F is up that? The biggest offender: Salman khan. I just roll my eyes every time i see the "action" in his movies. It's stupid beyond believe!
