PART 3:
( KUSHI'S POV )
I was sleeping peacefully when I heard my sister shout my name asking me to get up. This is what I hate the most. I hate getting up early.
Pls jiji 5 more minutes I pleaded her.
She again told me that it's already 7.30 and I have to get ready for my office.
Shit I totally forgot that it's my 1st day of work and then I got reminded what Amanji told me about my faceless boss. Oh god I don't want to get into his bad books on day 1.
I quickly got up and rushed to the bathroom.
I heard jiji's voice in the background asking me not to run. But I dint pay heed to that.
In 30 mins I got ready in my kurti and leggings.
I know I will be the only one dressed like this. All the others would be wearing short dress or western wear.
It's not that I don't wear those kind of dresses ( Ya it's been 4 years since I have touched western clothing though even then I used to wear it occasionally only), but I believe in dressing according to the place and according to me western and short dresses are a complete no no. Rarely it's ok not on regular basis. I quickly went to the dresser to comb my hair and tie it in a ponytail. Then I applied kajal and lip gloss and went to the living room.
I was asking Amma to hurry and get my breakfast, buaji was shouting at me saying I should have got up early. I dint say anything I just stuffed my mouth with food quickly and got up taking my bag for office. I caught an auto and reached AR. I looked at my watch. It showed 9.50. I sighed I was 10 mins early.
She smiled to herself and went inside the building.
She directly went to Aman's cabin and knocked. She went in once she heard his come.
Good morning Amanji I wished him.
He smiled at me and wished me back.
I was little tensed to meet the boss. I guess it showed in my face.
Aman chuckled seeing me tensed.
Are yu tensed about meeting ASR? He asked
I nodded negatively and gulped. He just raised his eyebrows. I said I am a little scared.
He smiled and asked me not to worry as ASR is not in town so I have to report to his brother Akash till then.
I heaved a sigh of relief but then I hope this Akash is not as strict as ASR is claimed to be.
As if sensing my thoughts Aman asked me not to worry as Akash is really friendly.
I now went to meet Akash sir.
I knocked Akash sir's cabin and went in.
He was tall and muscular and was wearing spectacles.
He seemed friendly as he was smiling at me.
Good morning sir I'm Kushi I have been appointed as the head designer I told him.
Welcome to AR Kushi, I will brief you about your work he replied.
For the next half an hour he explained to me the scope of work.
After that he took me around the office and introduced me to the staffs.
Some faces seemed friendly and some seemed to look at me weirdly I just smiled at everyone politely.
He then showed me my cabin. I instantly fell in love with it. It was small but was neat with wooden cupboards and a spacious table and a chair.

Definitely I would sir Akash, I smilingly replied.
Pls call me by my name Sir makes me feel like a fifty year old man Akash sir joked.
Ok Sir I mean Akashji I smilingly replied.
Ok good day Kushi he said and left.
I started looking at the files and without my knowledge it was lunch time.
I walked towards the canteen.
I heard a voice calling me from behind. I turned back and realized it was Smrithi the receptionist.
Hi she greeted. I replied back. She said she is also going for lunch and asked me to join.
I thanked and accepted her invite.
She took me to a table where there were already 3 others.
Liza from marketing, Rahul from itt dept and Ansh from accounts.
They all received me warmly and we mingled during lunch.
They all became my friends at the end of the day.
I liked my work and I got few friends too I was contented with my job.
Its been 10 days since I have joined. Akashji and Amanji help me out whenever I need.
Smrithi, Liza, Rahul and Ansh and I have become quite close.
There's this Lavanya who claims to be ASR's girlfriend. But Smrithi told me ASR doesn't give her any importance only she tells so. She has two sidekicks Sim and Pam. I have never seen these 3 do any work. All day they just gossip, taunt other staffs and flaunt their beauty.
Lavanya even threatened me to keep away from ASR. I said I have just come to work and I have no interest in anyone. She then taunted me about my dressing sense. I just ignored her.
I can't believe 10 days are over. Tomorrow I will finally meet my boss. I am actually eager to meet him. Being in AR and analyzing the files I noticed how he made AR No 1 in India single handedly. I can't help but admire him. I want to meet him.
I went home after a tiring day and fell on the bed. I closed my eyes as sleep took over me.
