SEASON 2 WILL NOT HAVE BARUN

Hey guys. I thought I should make a topic about this since many of you aren't aware about the situation. On the Starlite episode of Sanaya in Artesia, she stated that Barun will not be in IPKKND if they were to bring the show back. She also stated that if a second season were to happen, she would do it.

Barun in a recent interview said that he didn't want to talk about IPKKND. He also said that he would be willing to do TV again but only if he could work 15 days a month so he could have time to do movies as well. You can't be a lead actor and work only 15 days. Typically, lead actors work at least 25 days. I guess the only thing we can hope for is a new show with Sarun since we won't see them in IPKKND again.

For me, the show ended prematurely and a lot of issues were not solved. We never got to see Anjali fall in love again as well as NK. We never got to see Arshi go on a honeymoon. We also didn't get to see Payal or Khushi get pregnant and have their own kids. I never understood why they chose Arshi to adopt Aarav besides him looking like Arnav. Aarav should've been adopted by Anjali because it would've at least made sense since she had lost a child and was yearning to be a mother.

I was hoping that if the show was brought back then we could've had the chance to see the tracks that were not completed before. With Barun not coming back and many of the cast being busy with other projects, there's really no point of bringing back the show without the entire cast especially Sarun. It will not be the same. I'm beyond devastated by Sanaya confirming the news because IPKKND is the only show that's special to me.

So, where do we go from here?

i agree to a point in principle, that sanaya as an actress made a statement like that, but you never know, Bollywood is a gambling place, whoever went from TV has to come back here, I am not saying that barun will not be successful, but today's medium is TV which has larger or wider audience than the 3 hour cinema, the fate of the movie is also decided most of the times through TV channels, as you can see most of the artists including the King Khan came to KBC to promote his JTHJ with katrina, not to forget also, that just a couple of months back in November first week, we saw Son of Sardar promotion in Deewali special show hosted by Barun and Jenifer and all, where ajay and sonali came to promote this show, and coming Sunday 27th Jan the same movie is going to be released in TV, and this was by the way block buster movie, which is airing now in tv, just after its release couple of months back, so the fate of block buster movies with stars ajay sonali also cannot survive in theaters more than a month, then what to speak of the movies which are not under the banner of very big banners?

I think IPK 2 won't happen

Be it anyone, they have to come back to TV unless and until they take up a decision to leave this movies and tellyworld permanently. I think barun will never take such an unwise decision to leave for ever.

Whatever sanaya said is so true..season 2 is not possible with sarun..It may happen after a year if barun didn't success in BW...but I wish both of them for a successful future..

IPK 2 doesn't seem possible to me.

I think IPK season two is not possible...with Barun its impossible

IPK season 2 or even a new show is not happening 4 sure in near future. Barun wants films so its better people should move on

All the actors have moved on so wish them luck and wish them success in all their future projects. Time to move on.
