you're all saying that he already had it all planned out in his head..like he knew he would get a chance to save Zoya..that he was being very intelligent or practical, etc. Well, if thats whats true, then i'm sorry to say but they were not able to PORTRAY that in the episode. Him being intelligent and practical at the moment, and him having a great rescue plan, are all just assumptions! We want to believe that because we love the characters, and it wouldnt make sense for the characters to do that. But what we SAW, was that he did not even try to fight them off, or stop them taking Zoya..which is VERY unlike his character, because he ALWAYS fights off the goons. Plus, he was never shown to be a think and plan before you fight kind of guy, so this was extremely surprising..shocking. If these amazing intentions were asad's actual intentions, then i would be more than happy..but, they failed to portray that. it looked like a tube-light moment, rather than a "i have it all figured out" moment.

Hey!
I made a (kinda, but not completely) similar post and I do agree with you on the weird choice of the MITWA music in the background of THAT particular scene. I was like, dafaq's goin' on, eh? This song wasn't the right choice, but because it's AsYa's siganture background song, I guess the director was compelled to use it.
well, it depends on how you perceived it...for me not even once it struck that Asad was gonna leave Zoya to die..and this has nothing to do with what I feel about the character...do you think it would have been smart of him to shout to save Zoya when he ACTUALLY saw a girl in a bridal dress buried at the same place?😕...and he already knew they were the same people who killed those beautiful newly wed...well, I guess you needed things to be shown explicitly in this scenario, but like I said, I never ever...not even for a nanosecond felt that Asad should have shouted and struggled to save her in front of those goons (well, it would just have been a big big stupidity on his part...it would have meant the end of asad, zoya, asya, and obviously qubool hai)

Well, this wasn't exactly the first time Asad was encountering such terrifying goons. The episodes where Zoya was being married off to Akram had pretty grave dangers, and so was the time Ayaan was kidnapped by the goons. He had never been shown as the kind of guy who plans before he fights ..and it would have STILL made sense if he had actually showed some signs of STRUGGLING. he didn't!

i HATED the Mitwaa today! It made no sense whatsoever! It was in no way a Mitwaa moment! ..more like an Asad WTH did you just do moment! I understand he had a gun to his head..but he didn't even TRY to save her, before they left him at the bus stop. And when he said "mein zoya ko marr nahi doonga" - my reaction was congrats! ..i thought that was the worst dialogue in the show so far..i actually wanted to laugh! I dont understand what they were trying to show us today with asad;s character.. waise toh ek second mein itne saare goondon ko marr de ta hai, aur aaj hil bhi nahi paya?! 😡
Creatives, that was not a romantic moment..it was something ANY sane human wouldve done - lover or not.EDITEDyou're all saying that he already had it all planned out in his head..like he knew he would get a chance to save Zoya..that he was being very intelligent or practical, etc. Well, if thats whats true, then i'm sorry to say but they were not able to PORTRAY that in the episode.
