The one line of today's episode is that there is an unchangeable attachment between Asad and Zoe that can never be taken away from them. The attachment, the emotional bolt that came out of Asad like the howl of his soul. At that precise precise moment, Asad did't know and I didn't care whether he loved that fragile lifeless woman or not - but Asad knew it and you knew it, that for those 9 minutes, Asad's whole life depended on Zoe taking a breath of life. Like Aarti said it as such a valid point to Zoe - Asad's whole world came crashing at the thought that Zoe is dead.

And Zoe? As much as she was in the shock of having been buried alive in her unconscious state, Asad's emotional shade didn't escape her notice, no matter how much he tried to hide it by turning away from her. It registered in her mind, and when he looked back at her, she let it go and cried.

There was no need for words. Zoe couldn't say anything because she was still in shock and trauma. Asad didn't say anything because he was too emotionally wrought to say anything that would make her feel better. Perhaps in one of the best silent exchanges that we have seen of AsYa till date, Asad just quietly comforted her, kept dusting her face as though she was something too pristine to be contaminated, never broke the eye contact with her, slid a protective and helping arm under her waist, and picked her up like a flower falling apart in his arms. Tragically beautiful.

And how can one not mention the precap where Asad tends to Zoe like you tend to a little lost child. He slowly but firmly opens his arm to let her rest and puts her head on his chest with his own hand... almost saying,,,,go to sleep, Hoity Toity Princess... I am watching.

NOW... THE VERY VERY BASIC QUESTION..

What you saw today between Asad and Zoe was moving , poetic , the stuff that soulmates are made of . But how do you define something so viscose and irrigated from the soul when you believe that Asad and Zoe do not love each-other.

How do you define what Asad must have felt for Zoe when his own eyes watered when he had seen her at the holy Dargah for the first time and that too sobbing?

How do you define the oscillation in Asad's feelings when he screams at Zoe one moment and then, holds her hand and cries when she weakly raises her hand to seek him?

How will you know what is in Zoe's heart when she makes life a living hell for Asad but slowly centers her whole existence around him?

How do you define Zoe's feelings when Asad is the only one who holds the capability to hurt her enough to make her cry and the only one to give her starry eyes by just being Asad?

The fact is that you cannot tell what Asad and Zoe feel for each-other at this point. Like Yash, Aarti, even if you had seen Asad's hysteria for Zoe today, you'd actually be convinced that Zoe is his soulmate.

Are they in love, brink of love? There is no definite answer to it, no matter how many logics you give me. But yes, what binds Asad and Zoe runs as deep as blood.

But yes, one thing is definite here. If AsYa are together as soulmates, well and good. But , if for any reason at all - Asad's reluctance/sacrifice or Zoe's bloodline playing evil, they are taken away from each-other, its not just the two of them, everybody else will also be ruined. Its true. If soulmates don't meet , the universe gets angry and repercussions swallow all those who are in the wheel. Lol, but hey, this is just a story, so the writers may not be the angry universe.

Anyway , am going now, with the memory of Asad-Zoe at the grave. That really is the stardust that true love and its insanity is made of. ☺️
