soon all other students also went out and now rk and arnav were alone in the room.
arnav: i need to talk to her.
rk nodded his head silently cause he knew that they were at fault this time.
rk : i think you should go tomorrow. it's already 2:30.
so they both went to their beds but neither them was going to sleep due to the hurricane in their heart.
arnav recalled the frightened look on khushi's face. he was her friend then why did she said that she needed him and can't live without him?? the look on her face was clearly beyond friendship.
madhu went to the room and found khushi sitting on the edge of bed. she wasn't crying but she was definitely hurt. madhu decided it was better to let her alone for sometime.
next day:
they all went to a museum there. arnav tried to say something to khushi but she quickly went away with madhu. during their journey neither of them spoke to each other.
when they reached there madhu and khushi maintained a distance from them. when they were sitting at the cafeteria there the waiter came there with two plates.
waiter: here's your order ma'am.
madhu: thanks.
khushi: madhu look!!
she said pointing towards the plate. it was the food they had ordered but with a message on it.
they both looked at rk and arnav but they were nowhere to be seen.
khushi: it that laad governor thinks that this is going to work then i must tell you, that i am not impressed by these things.
madhu smiled at khushi because she knew that she was starting to melt.
khushi: but i am angry on him not on the food, then why??
so she starts eating .
a little later a person came to khushi and gave her a flowers with a message written on it - i'm sorry.
but before khushi could ask anything that person rushed from there.
when khushi went to washroom she found a girl standing inside with a bouquet.
khushi: thanks but who gave u this??
girl: i don't know his name but i think you should forgive him.
khushi: thanks but i don't want to.
girl: well i m must say one thing . you are very lucky cause even my boyfriend doesn't apologize so much .
khushi: but i don't need all these things.
girl: then what??
khushi: i only want to hear a simple sorry from his mouth. nothing else.
khushi comes out to see madhu waiting with one more bouquet.
khushi: don't say that these are for me!!!
madhu: i can't cause they are.
khushi: what does he want?? if he really wants to say sorry then why he is not coming in front of me??
madhu: i don't know but he will definitely make our house mughal garden if you didn't forgive him (laughs).
khushi: then let it be.
after their refreshment madhu and khushi went to see the remaining part of museum. khushi kept looking for arnav but he was nowhere to be seen. madhu too sensed this but decided to stay quite.
they both were alone in the hall which had figures of ancient mythological characters. khushi saw a note on wall.
but before she could say anything he heard him saying - " i'm sorry".
khushi turned around and saw arnav and rk standing there.
khushi: (to madhu) you know what madhu , i have heard this word so many tomes now that even my great grand children are going to hate this word.
madhu understood that khushi was taunting arnav. so she decided to break the ice and settle the matter between them.
madhu: er...khushi i think you should listen to him.
khushi glared at madhu, so she stopped.
rk : enough both of you. i think you two should talk face to face.
i am fed up this all mess. so please talk and try to understand.
but before arnav could say anything rk came forward , grabbed madhu's hand and pulled her out of the room. he wanted to give them some free space.
outside:
madhu: leave my hand!!
rk : you are saying as if i have held it for the very first time!!
madhu didn't knew what to say . rk too left her hand.
rk: i think you should start taking chyawanprash daily.
madhu: what??
rk : of course!! can't you see silly that they needed to talk alone.
madhu: so ??
rk : two tablespoons daily!!
madhu: shut up i was coming but but you were rather impatient .
i think you should start mediation to calm your mind.
rk : (smirks) nice !! so you are copying rk!!
inside the room:
arnav: khushi listen to me!!
khushi: no!! you listen today!! do have any idea how frightened i was?? i thought i lost you!!! don't know why but i had a strange feeling that i will be no longer happy. you know i never felt so much afraid not even when bambi fell into pit.
arnav: bambi??
khushi: yes my pet cat.
arnav smiled cause they real khushi kumari gupta was back now.
khushi: you are laughing??? too funny na!!
she turns to go out but arnav grabs her hand from behind and pulls her close to him.
arnav: no this is not a joke for me khushi. i didn't wanted to hurt you. and will never ever think of that. all i want is you to be happy. and this is all i can do.
he then bends on his knees .
arnav: i am sorry.
khushi sees care, affection and possessiveness for herself in his eyes. she too goes on her knees and says.
khushi: it's okay!! but you have to do one thing for me!!
arnav: what?
khushi: jalebi!!
arnav: what???
khushi: don't react as if you came from mars and have never ever heard of jalebi.
arnav: well men are actually from mars.
khushi: it even looks so. you all have a brain that works on mars only!! now friends??
arnav: friends!!
madhu : don't you need to say something??
rk: (pretending that he didn't knew) what??
madhu : nothing...
he loved that irritated look on her face. it made her look more cute.
soon arnav and khushi came out and it was clear from their expressions that everything was fine between them.
rk : (to khushi ) sorry !!
khushi: it's okay but i anyone of you says sorry for one more time then i swear i am gonna bang his head on wall.
they all laughed .
arnav: but we won the bet!!
khushi: okay!!
madhu: no!!
madhu glared at khushi who suddenly realised what she had said.
khushi: i...i mean...
rk and arnav: we won the bet!!!
