I don't think Vyasar Virundhu is abridged. It could be a full translation. The book I saw and read from was considerably large. Still, it has the same style the author had used for his other books.

I once saw a hardcopy collection of KM Ganguly's translation of the Mahabharata, and it was something like 8 volumes (am forgetting how many). If Vyasar Virundhu is a full translation of Vyasa, as opposed to simply a re-narration of a subset of the book, which most Mahabharatas are, I doubt he could have fit it all into one book, unless he heavily condensed it.

Vyasar Virundhu- I have found out now,- is also written by Rajaji. It is the tamil equivalent of his 'Mahabharata' in English.

I had forgotten this one. What happened next in Yudhisthir's war w/ Anushalva? Who confronted him - Pradhyumna? Vrishaketu? Bhima?
