I know why are they making comparison ki Swayam ne nahi bataya toh that is why Taani ne nahi bataya. As you said they were in Trial relationship, they needed to work upon it and besides Taani knew nothing about Swayam and Sharon's background story toh woh kyun batayega? As simple as that
