How old is Sanchita?

Sorry, I haven't been following the threads here as much as before. Also, I haven't been watching SRGMP as much I used to watch the last Challenge. But, I have watched all the performances so far without following much of the peripheral stuff that happens on the show. Thank GOD for the DVR, so I could skip the fluffy stuff fast.

I feel that Sanchita is way too old to have been selected in this competition. Physically she looks as mature as any 17/18yr old girl I've seen. She is mature enough to participate in the adult Challenge - vocally as well.

I would be extremely disappointed if she won under the banner of Lil'Champ because she does not fit my criteria of "little". But it is not her fault. That is the fault of the producer.

The only girl I've seen in this series that seemed to have that "magic" is Neha, in my opinion. There is something about her voice that is mesmerizing. She is someone to watch out for in the future.

Put 10 pounds of makeup on any teenage girl and she'll look much older. Put her around 12, 13 year old boys and she'll look much older in front of them. Most teenage girls look older than their male counterparts. 😃

Dont forget that in C2005, Himani and Ujjaini were only 17. Sanchita looks much younger than both.

Oh, I agree that Neha had a memorizing voice. Her most memorable performances were Megha Chayye Adhhi Raat and Meethi Meethi Baatein IMO. Unfortunate that she was eliminated first by the judges and then the public.

Yup, Himani and Ujjani were only 17 in C2005. Sanchita's 14 year old is fine for a little champ. The Pranav kid that was eliminated in the 1st round was 15! He sure didn't look 15.

hey guys you have nothing to think anything if you come us or canada if you see 7 years young giral look 16 or 17 . ok .. some 16 or17 years look two and half fit toll.than you call ok for l,champ.

Snachita is 14 and Neha is 13, not much difference. Both r teens 🤢

and a nearly 30 year old won the competition and most in the forum are pleased with the result..

there is another thread in which people are insinuating that sanchita choses to wear inappropriate clothes 🤢

but i agree with the argument that nihira and shreya may have been better trained singers than sanchita..
every singer has a unique quality..be it nihira's sur,hemu's voice,karunyas breathcontrol,arijit's range...

what strikes me most about sanchita is that on one hand she mesmerises with"dardse mera daman bhar de"(hard to please jagjit's composition and he said she was better than lata in some parts!!!!),"eeli re eeli,kank,'gali main aaj chand nikla"
and then is equally comfortable with
"aisa jaado daala re"..."hata sawan ki ghata"(nihira would have struggled-i remember the tepid "ooh lalala"-himani was perfect with "que sera sera"!)

versatality is her USP...which all the judges have acnowledged time and again!

also her voice is todays voice..fresh young and not too sweet,not too brassy..."complete play back singer" or next "alka yagnik"..?alka has been by far the most prolific singer post lata/asha along with udit-like it or not!!
