"Dadi?" They said in unison.

They bent down to take Devyani Raizada's blessings.

"Akash"? Said a voice.

"Di!" He ran forward to hug his sister, how terribly he had missed her.

While Payal looked on amused.

"They had skyped every two days and even though this was her husband's condition." She thought.

"Areey Payalji, you didn't miss your Di? " Teased Anjali.

Payal went forward and hugged Anjali and both of them looked at each other fondly remembering the times they spent together.

"Hari Prakash, come take Akash and Payal bitya's luggage into their room, there are here to stay." Said a beaming Nani.

Anjali dragged Payal away saying that she wanted to spend some time with her before Akash came and dragged her away.

Payal blushed and said "Di, aap bhi na."

Nani took Akash to her room and the Dadi- Grandson duo were going to spend some quality time together talking about his 8 month stay in the US.

"So Payaliji, what did you do there? You were comfortable? Di asked anxiously.

"Haan Di, I was fine. Initially the new food, clothes and language were difficult. But now I'm comfortable with the language as I took some classes and I'm okay wearing western as well.

"Areey waah Payaliji! That's really good news."

Payal smiled and thought "It is good to be back home, where we belong."

"Thou why did you come back?"

"Di, I missed the family so much and even Akash was restless so decided to come back as soon as the project was done. We asked Papa to come back with us but he refused saying that he wouldn't until he wrapped up his project."
