Salman did not get a nomination for many of his good performances. HAHK definitely deserved atleast a nomination. Even AAA too, Aamir got one, but Salman did not...

Some years i understand there are better performances and not everyone makes the nomination list... But when it happens frequently then clearly there is some bias...

Exactly! Well said. 👏

Actually Ranbir & SRK were funny! And I like Indian awards more than Western ones - Oscars or Golden Globes are so pompous and boring! Indian awards show are so much fun. 😛

True, its so predictable that whoever came will be accomodated by being awarded in some or the other category. And yes the cheap and vulgar jokes just dont entertain. Bollywood needs to be creative and not try to indianise the western jokes which are based on their culture. We have enough of our own buffonery, lets use that.

The article is spot on. I like how Golden Globes and Oscars come on Live because you get to see the real expressions whereas these awards, Filmfare, Star Screen, Stardust and IIFA they always show the same expression or one of the actor's expression on that particular actor on stage.

This! They zoom in on the same three actor's reactions...throughout the entire telecast of the awards show😲😆

They go over the top with the performances, the antics, the presenting...and even when it comes to respecting the elderly legendary actors. But big is not always better.

I still can't get over the fact that one of the awards show had a special ceremony for Hrithik and Suzaane's anniversary or something...like what was up with that

All award shows should be live, if not live then not heavily edited.
