Actress Nivedita Bhattacharya's reel-life accident turns real

The entire unit of Saat Phere was in for a big shock when a reel life scene turned into reality. Actress Nivedita Bhattacharya, (Jiji in the show) who shot for an accident scene on the previous day ended up having a mishap.

Nivedita, was gearing up for an accident scene in Saat Phere. "I even shot for the scene with the bandage on my arm. But we couldn't wind up the entire scene that evening," recalls Nivedita. So, she was asked to report on the sets early next day as they had to finish the accident scene.

However, for the morning shoot, Nivedita turned up in the afternoon. "They were shocked to see the plaster around my arm. First they thought that I was pulling a fast one on them but later they realised that I had injured myself and it was real."

Apparently, that evening after pack-up, Nivedita was walking around her terrace flat in the suburbs. "There was water on the floor, which I didn't see. I lost my balance and slipped on my hand. I was rushed to the doctor," she says. "It's unbelievable that what was happening on screen translated into real life too."

Despite the injury, Nivedita has been shooting for the show. The actress informs that her co-stars and friends have been taking good care of her. "My family lives in Kolkata and it's just my friends and co-stars who I can count on. They have been extremely sensitive and caring."

Aww... I wonder what she's like in RL...

Well... now the production company won't have to pay for the cast at least. LOL
I was wondering how she could incur so many fractures from fainting and falling on the ground. I've fallen plent of times and have yet to break anything. 😆

awh..well i hope her hand gets well soon and it's really amazing how reel life stories become real life..it's suprising..i also read this article in CID a long time ago where this grl was acting blind and then a couple of days later, she had sight problems realized that she couldn't see anymore...


so i guess acting sickness could not be cool

ramas,U are right,people have been cursing her so much and poor jiji really hurt herself.
