My belief in God has helped a lot. I
feel that one needs to respect each
and every religion. I remember when
I had come to Mumbai for the first
time for a reality show audition, I had
gone to Haji Ali and prayed there and
He really helped me. I make it a point
to pray daily. It's important to never
forget to thank God! I treat God as my
friend and so I share all my thoughts
with him — whatever I did in the
whole day, my mistakes, achievements, almost everything. I don't
visit temples on a daily basis but I do
make it a point to pray everyday and
keep the love of God in my heart. I
recently visited Siddhivinayak temple
before Ganapati festival and I visit
Haji Ali whenever time permits. I
am also looking forward to visiting
Vaishno Devi, Amarnath, Tripuati
Balaji someday. As my mother's name
is Durga, I share a special relationship with Maa Durga. I believe in
staying positive because when you
think positive, negativity cannot
reach you. One needs to learn to
forgive people for their mistakes and
to be sorry for their own. It's very
simple to inculcate these habits. Life
treats us the same way that we treat
it, so stay positive all the time — in
good times as well as bad times and
love everyone. No matter what they
do, love and forgive everyone because
it's all about give and take. If you give
love, you will receive love in return
and hence one should spread love and
peace everywhere.
