Omg , what a wonderfully emotional and touching episode we got today ---well worth the week-end wait ! I was dumbstruck with Madhu's eloquence and RK's silence---scared to even breathe lest I miss a dialogue. Madhu's hurt and anger was surely justified and deeming herself a failure in her own eyes , made RK realize what a grave mistake he'd committed by taking up Dips challenge----a challenge from a woman whom he didn't like neither cared for , as Madhu promptly reminded RK. After all these days of wallowing in self pity and in his haste to smugly gloat over his victory at Dips challenge, RK forgot to stop and wonder how his beloved Madhu would feel if she ever found out . I guess RK thought that all that he was doing for Madhu's family in order to make things right and the love in his eyes would be enough to convince Madhu that test or not----he truly had fallen in love with his beautiful and innocent wife.
I feel the following quote aptly describes RK's feelings for Madhu , as if he'd uttered the words himself : "When I fall in love with someone, then that doesn't "just" happen… When I love someone's character, over time I'll see that personality, I love so much, shining through their eyes and fusing with their appearance, turning them in the most beautiful girl in the world. And truly the universe really did start looking all the more beautiful, making RK smile just thinking of how the most gorgeous girl in the world sincerely loved Rishab and not RK ------until the moment that his universe exploded on him with a bang ! Madhu's strong outburst and showing RK the mirror regarding his misconception that he alone was the wronged one betrayed by his loved ones, served to open his eyes to his mother's pain and sacrifice as well as his dad's weakness and compulsion.
I loved the Paddy Shammu scene -----both were so shy and awkward----the way that Shammu assuaged Paddy's apprehensions regarding Rishbala's broken photo frame was really sweet. From the precap , I'm happy to see that RK is safe and in full senses when he calls his mother "Maa" and Radhaji's ecstatic expression said it all ------I guess she never thought that Bappaji would listen to her prayers so soon. Thank you team MB for yet another dramatic and emotionally charged episode from the MBEIEJ treasure chest !
