Deja vu darlings!

Then I watched the episode. It was not as bad as I had imagined. Suraj was at his angelic best. Even Sandy did not look averse to his touch. That was may be because it was very fatherly. I would say even grandfatherly. (Why are they putting that half sleeve sweater on our handsome young hero these days ? To match his behavior with Sandy?? Even I want to sit at his feet, pat his withered hand and ask him to tell me a story!) But he made me tear up with his proclamation of love.( One tends to get more touched when the elderly get emotional.😳)

But I noticed something. We all know how the cvs love to recycle. They love to bring back old props, food items and other inanimate objects Vishnu da made us all recall with fondness on the weekend tickle. There is a nice feeling of Deja vu when that happens. Some of the wam and fuzzy of those beloved moments comes back to strengthen the scene. This time however, they have started something new. They are combining stuff. They put SurYa in western outfits and wo ai need them and made them dance again to recreate the famous Singapore confession and then put the straw in Sandy's hair for Suraj to lovingly remove as in the past powerful SurYa moment. They have introduced a new thing, the rain . I do believe the next momentous SurYa moment will probably have all these 3 elements plus one more! I wonder what that could be. SurYa in western clothes? We probably will have to wait until easter provided MomLi are still an item till then😊 Straw can come from the eater egg hunt, ( eggs in straw beds) and we all know April showers do yield May flowers!😊

But seriously Cvs, we can't wait that long. We need to help our SurYa realize it is ok to romance. DBC can be delayed but not romance. Do it for religious reasons like pleasing the trp devtaa if not for us faithful dabhian mortals.😉 How can we help them along using this combination deja vu again? Sandy is going to polish her home making skills. Would Suraj be teaching her how to roll a ball of wool and suddenly a chooha arrives and they go round and round each other and get entangled in the wool?😉 Would Suraj be teaching her how to use the sewing machine gently and slips on the machine oil Sandy dropped on the floor to recreate the oil spill hug scene??😆

Do share what combos you wanna see. We have a sneaking suspicion Cvs are reading the forum these days.😉

@Uma, Yes, I do agree that dabh is quite lifeless without SurYa chemistry. Sandy's feelings are still unknown and Suraj has lost the spark in his eyes when he looks at her. Actually, more than dbc, I would love to see Sandy wanting to show affection to Suraj in the way he deserves. I would love to see her finding him as irrestible as he used to find her.

Hmm, Valentines day! we may have a few surprises. Last year, a few interesting things happened in maasa's village. Amily may give hints to Sunny about valentine's day.

to tell the truth I'm ok with this subtle subtle romance, and to be honest, I didnt quite like the idea inserting the honeymoon track just because of the trps. But then I know very well that I belong to the minority here, so that's why some of my posts on that Tuesday night episode were actually based on majority's point of view in this forum.

Also I think it is unfair to compare the 'romance' in the initial days and now because the characters have grown, the love is mutual now. And the situation is different too...

Thanks UMDUji for mentioning my name here 😆, yes, we are yet to see Sandhya's perspectives in many matters, until then you cant expect romance because our dearest suraji has made it very clear about their relationship in the Tuesday's episode 😛

Ami, Valentine's day sounds interesting, but Sandhya/Emily may need one full episode to explain its significance to Suraj 😆

I might've been another devdas of the forum after rain scene, if it hadn't been for the skills I acquired during dodge ball games in high school! You see, it was because of these skills I was able to dodge all those 'spoiler' articles that were barraged on us. 😛 As a result, I wasn't flown too high, thus the fall wasn't too bad 😆. But I can understand how most members must've felt! I had the same feeling of disappointment when I bought Garnier Fructis shampoo and tried to pull a truck with my hair like that girl in the shampoo commercial! That day I realized how 'misleading advertising' can really hurt (sometimes quite literally)

Painful and true stories apart, 😆 your 'combination deja vu scenes' observation and examples were just too good! Got me thinking about the following potential combo deja vu scene: SurYa are playing with curtain rods in GG room, and they accidentally knock over the lamp and the room goes dark. So they start lighting up diyas together, and as usual, end up loosing each other in eye-locks! As a result, Suraj accidentally burns his hand a little (and taking advantage of the opportunity, really exaggerates his pain 😉). On cue, Sandhya quickly grabs the ointment and starts applying it on Suraj's hand. Only problem is that, due to the darkness, she accidentally had grabbed the glue! losing each other in eyes-locks again, they end up getting their hands stuck together, and they have to walk to the aangan hand pump, hand in hand, face to face, as if they are ball-room dancing! As they walk down the stairs, Sandhya's bindi, like a magnet, transfers over to Suraj's kurta . Anyways, as they reach the aangan, guess what ... it's raining! 😲 So they walk across the aangan, in the rain, in a dancing motion! Ho gaya na 'dance in the rain' sequence! 😃
