watching old epi - ques about contract wedding - Page 2

Will watch the entire epi without skipping... looks like I get so into Arnav-Khushi.. chemistry that I am eager for the next one.. so start skipping other parts... then the story seems to make no sense...I am missing out whole chunks of it.. the whole middle sections...

At that time La and Arnav were not engaged. They were in a relationship. The actually were never officially engaged. Because they broke up their alliance before getting engaged. If you recall they had just announced their engagement on Diwali and were going to be engaged on the same day as PAYASH. LA was brought to RAizada house upon Shyam's suggestions with the deadline of a month to see if she was fit to be Arnav's wife and train her to be a Raizada Bahu. And yes those episodes surrounding La were very entertaining. Esp those with Manorama Mami

INTERESTING - I did not remember this scene but just checked & Yes Nani was plotting at that point BUT she surely later changed her mind when La & ASR got engaged & you could see that she accepted La & they ended up having a really good relationship & she was all for ASR getting married to La. BUT we are talking about the writers that were forever changing tack at the drop of a hat- look at all the unexplianed events etc

Nani 's aim was to have Khushi around the house and prove to Arnav how unfit La was to be a Raizada bahu...

Thank you guys.. since from now on it is only old episodes... will try (I know it is hard), not to skip the middle parts i.e., non ARSHI ones... will try to get the entire picture...

Nani wanted Arnav to like Khushi because she liked Khushi's traditions. She said she liked La and the engagement was abruptly announced on all of them and in a couple of days Khushi's was announced. So actually at that point I think everyone including Anjali were confused about ARSHI's behavior. In any case we just have to see at Nani's face in teri meri dance to see how happy she was when the rest were pretty confused. As she said she does not play kachhi goliya. She knows Mr Arnav always has the tendency to run in the other direction. So she accepted La and then tried to make Arnav jealous by saying that NK and Khushi would make a good pair.

Like the above posters have suggested ...Do watch the scenes where Khushi trains La..they are awesome ..

And also mami training La. Those were the best hilarious Jodi in IPK.

I guess it was natural. RM people are sort of traditional specially Nani and Anjali and suddenly one of their family members comes and says that he is married and all sure it was a huge shock for all of them.
