This is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge wild guess so it is kind of stupid......

I was wodering what if snape loved lily (hard to imagine) and on the night that he overheard Professor Trewleny talking to Professor Dumbledore about the profecy he confessed to dumbledore later on that he didn't know what he was doing....

He may hate Harry because he didn't get Lily because of James.....

And if it is Harry's dead body it mabey because he loved lily so much that he did have a place in his heart for harry deep deep deep deep down.

But why did he always loath harry at school..... well that mabey because he didn't want to show his feelings????

Face it Lily did stand up for everyone...... even slimeballs.... (SNAPE)..... so that mabey why he liked lily because she always stood up for him.....

ATTENTION: this is just a guess i'm not saying that this is true it is just a GUESS.......

P.S. Thank God Lily didn't marry snape......ewwwwww......imagine their kid 🤢 .... MALFOY... just give him red/black hair and green eyes...HA wow my imagination is WILD tonight.

Coz...for Snape, Lily's a mudblood(in his words). He would be highly embarassed if a girl tht too a muggleborn defended him in front of his nemesis James n Sirius...In his eyes, tht means tht Snape himself can't face upto James n Sirius and needs a muggleborn girl to defend him..
So the theory goes tht Snape hated Lily for defending him..

I rather think tht this theory is more accurate..whaddaya think??? 😉

u know tht in the 5 th book lily defended snape when james was irrating snape.. maybe she liked him.. and maybe snape also liked her but due to the gryffindor - slytherin thingy..
