The Festival of Lights —Diwali is one of the most significant and widely celebrated festivals of India. A day of family bonding and love, it is an event when people illuminate their houses with diyas and candles. And this Diwali the season of festivities will become even more brighter as STAR PLUS brings for its viewers a special two hour episode — Diwali Dhamaka, today.

Diwali Dhamaka the first ever special evening, will be celebrated in the most memorable way, will add glitter and sparkle to the festive spirit, as it brings the Viranis, Agarwals, Lambas and all the other family members of the STAR Parivaar under one roof, joyous to mark the occasion and mood of togetherness…then be it the worst of enemies or the best of friends they all will be seen sashaying and jiving to the rhythmic beats of the latest Bollywood numbers in the best of their ghagra-cholis, sherwanis and fineries.

The evening will be a star-studded affair as the entire glitterati from the small screen will descend to create a glamorous event specially put together for the viewers. Whether it's the moves of Priyanka (Sangeeta Ghosh) for the beautiful song dholna or Parvati's (Saakshi Tanwar) spell -binding performance for the famous track Kangana Re and Chalka Chalka both featured on her favourite heroine Rani Mukherji from the films, Paheli and Saathiya respectively or the double act by Komolika (Urvashi) and Indraneil (Sikandar) to the tunes of latest blockbusters Beedi Jalaile and Namak Ishq Ka from the blockbuster Omkara, the night will be exciting.
