Actor and anchor Rakshanda Khan has added another feather in her cap. The actor-anchor who is also a popular page 3 socialite has become an event manager by launching her own event management company called Celebrity Locker. Recently she organised a celebrity music night in Hong Kong and her next show will be with Bollywood singer and music director Himesh Reshamiyya in Kenya in November, which will be followed by the launch of a new energy drink in December. She doesn't think her star status is helping her get event management work.

"I have had a reputation of being a professional. People who approach me as event manager want to have clean and clear- cut deals," says Rakshanda whose priority is to organise corporate events of international standards besides big musical shows abroad. "Television actors are highly popular abroad. But I want to raise the bar for TV actors further by organising big events." Being a well-known anchor she obviously does not rule out the possibility of hosting some of her own shows.
