Yesterday's episode, for me, was very very enjoyable. And one of the best things about the epi, except of course Zoya and Asad's convo at the end 😆 ..was Nikhat and Asad's meeting. It was a beautiful scene, and this was probably the first time we saw Nikhat be rebellious, which was great! I liked their relationship, even more that asad and ayaan. they seemed so realistic! - awkward yet vulnerable. 👍🏼
I did not however, like Asad meeting Haseena to bribe her. I thought he was going to threaten her, and blow off at her for doing what she did with Nikhat, but I also understand that that is how various families work. It showed reality.
However, what makes any family send her daughter to the homes of such ugly hearted people..I don't understand 😕 Even though when Asad threatened Haseena, and probably scared her, the exchange was still a bribe, and therefore I hope for the development of the relationship between Asad and Nikhat that he teaches her to face the harsh realities of the world, in the future. He teaches her how to survive in a world filled with people like Haseena. I know that his intentions were to bring back Nikhat's happiness, however, it would be amazing to see him make HER into an independent and confident woman - someone outspoken yet polite; modest yet powerful. A much more toned down version of Zoya..which could also make him realize his growing respect for women like Zoya. - I am not asking for this to happen over night. I know it will take time..but it could be a beautiful track for Nikhat and Asad 😃
Also, I was confused about why Nikhat would fall for Imraan, and I found out yesterday that it was because he made her feel beautiful..which was a justified reason. I personally, have no respect for Imraan left anymore after his mute act during their wedding 🤢
I also hope we start seeing more of Najma. I love her character! And I have never been more excited to watch cockroaches on tv, than I am today! 😉
