Hey guys... I was thinking of discontinuing this ff, but many asked me to continue this one. Ab if u guys urself want to torture urself toh main kya karoon??Anyways go ahead with the update!!!

CHAPTER 2

The norning rays of the sun hit her soft skin,making her stir in her sleep. Khushi got up and looked out of the window. It was just another say. Bright and lively. But not for her. She looked at the end of the lane. How she wished that he would come and take her away with him.

Khushi snapped out of her thoughts, No… I don't want him!!! I cant face him!! He wont believe me… I know it!! I hate him!!

Having said that, Khushi got out of her bed and got ready for her day ahead. She walked out of her bedroom dressed in a simple salwar suit and walked out.

She walked down the aisle and reached to the house next door. Payal would need her for breakfast.

She opened the door and walked inside and saw Akash talking to someone on phone. Akash flashed a smile at Khushi. Khushi did the same and walked inside the house into kitchen to find Payal fixing breakfast.

"I am sorry Payal… I guess I should've come early…"

"That's ok Khushi…. Don't make a fuss of it… come and have your breakfast… you are getting late, aren't you?" A smiling Payal said to Khushi.

Khushi sat at the dining table accompanied by Akash and ate her breakfast.

"Khushi, U need me to drop u at school?"

Khushi looked up from her plate and nodded her head in a negative.

"Akash… where's Ragini? I'll take her with me.."

"Ragini is here…" they heard a little girl's voice from behind.

The little girl walked up to Khushi and pouted at her.

"Ragini doesn't like Khushi coming late…"

"Accha Baba…. Khushi says sorry… teek hai?"

Khushi said holding her ear with her two hands and asked for a sorry.

Ragini smiled at her sheepishly as the two got up and left the house.

"Arrey Ragini, Khushi, Naachtha!!!!"

But they were gone. Payal turned to her husband and nodded her head in utter disbelief.

"In dono ka kuch nahi ho saktha!"

"I know…." Replied Akash.

Everything was dark. He lingered through the hall and made his way to the end of the room he had just stepped in. Khalid was standing at the farther end staring out. Khalid was not a father-figure to Arnav. Khalid was Arnav's brother since a very young age. It was Khalid's father who had brought him up.

"What is it Khalid? Shyam said u called me…"

Khalid did not turn around to face Arnav. He kept staring out of the window.

"Arnav…. I need to tell u something…." Khalid said.

"Yeah Khalid… Tell me…"

"I am sorry Arnav…"

Sorry?? And that too Khalid? This was so not like him. Arnav thought.

"Sorry for what Khalid? And that too all of a sudden?"

"I don't know if I should tell you, but its high time you knew the truth…"

"Khalid can u please some to the point!! Why the hell are u talking in riddles? And what am I supposed to know?"

"K-Khushi…. She… she's alive…"

Arnav stood rooted to the place. He still couldn't get the things said by Khalid straight into his head. His Khushi was alive. Safe and sound. But why had he hidden it from, for so long? His walk stammered for a second. steadying himself, he turned to Khalid and asked him

"Where is she?"

Khalid remained quiet, his head still down.

"WHERE THE HELL IS SHE KHALID!!!" Arnav's voice roared through the room.

"I don't know Arnav…."

"You are lying Khalid…"

"Khalid never lies Arnav… I would gladly let u know where she is, but I don't know…."

Without even asking for a word more, Arnav turned around and was about to leave the room when Khalid called him.

"Arnav, U need to go to Panchgani…."

Arnav didn't turn around. He stood there waiting for a reply.

"Rashid has fled fearing us… and I want my money back…"

Khalid found Arnav nodding his head and walking away.

"I need you to leave the very next day…"

"Kaam ho jaayega Khalid Bhai.."

Having said that Arnav walked away not even turning back to look at Khalid.

Khalid looked at the retreating form of his best friend.

I am sorry Arnav… I cant tell you where she is. I promised. After what she has been through, I don't think she can face you. No woman can face her man after what she has suffered.
