i've fallen in love with priya's character all over again...we always knew hers is a very strong character n now having given us a glimpse of that dreadful night u have proved yet again that she indeed is a very strong officer n more than that a very strong woman!
ofcousre i thought something bad happened that night but something of this intensity could have happened i never imagined...!...the idea of showing a woman cop's vulnerable side was a really good idea😊
i love the bonding swati n priya share😃...everyone should have such a supportive friend!
n finally things are getting clearer😛...!
swati n sameer's scene was also really good...very little men have the guts to own up there fears 😊
now i hope arjun comes to know jaldi se what actually happened that night!

Firstly, Swati-Sameer's conversation was beautifully described.. I could soo totally relate to Sameer's insecurities and fear of losing her.. And Swati, she's been at the receiving end for no fault of hers.. Actually, I'm bot even sure if Sameer was at fault.. This is what I meant by beautiful.. Brilliant stuff there.. 👏

Moving on to Priya and her past, THIS is what I had dreaded the most.. I'd guessed it the very first time, you'd mentioned about her cover being blown up.. Never really mentioned it, coz that would've been plain cruel..
And now that you've finally revealed it, I have to say this.. I was numb after I finished reading this one.. And trust me, as much as I love writing emotional stuff, I'm not a very emotional person at heart.. The only three times I've cried for any fictional character was when SRK died in Kal Ho Na Ho, every single time I watch P.S. I Love You and the day Arnav had left Khushi at the airport!

But I have to say, you made it happen yet again.. And yes, you are right when u say that female cops or for that matter, any woman working in a defence establishment is vulnerable to such ruthless actions.. It's really tragic that we talk about having explored the space and the deep seas, when we've really failed to explore our own inner selves..
What happened with Priya was barbaric! These were the lines that touched me the most..

They left me with nothing to offer to anyone. I lost everything that day, my self-respect, my dignity, any possibility of being with any man for rest of my life."

On that day her life was saved but the life ahead of her was nothing but empty and barren.

I've always admired her for the woman she is, but with this update, it's gone up several notches.. Inspite of having lost everything she held dear to herself, she is still concerned about Arjun's breakdown after the truth is revealed to him.. If that isn't true love, I don't know what is..

I really hope and wish that once reunited with Arjun, whenever that is meant to be, he showers her with every bit of love and care, she is worthy of..

However, I was a bit confused with this bit,
'Besides when he does find out what happened then he will probably hate me even more because I am the reason his life is the way it is now'

I don't get why she is still blaming herself for whatever happened to him.. Maybe since she was incapable of saving Roshni and shares his guilt.. I'm not sure..

At this point, I honestly don't care about Roshni's death.. (Sorry, for being insensitive, here) Even if Priya did hate Roshni and if she had indeed been the reason behind Roshni's death, what Roshni suffered was nothing compared to what Priya had to go through!

And yes, lastly about Roshni.. thanks for clearing out that bit.. I had sort of guessed it that Roshni couldn't have hated Priya only coz of Arjun.. In fact, I guess it's the other way round.. Anyway, all I have to say is that is Roshni did what she did (And I hope you understand what I mean) then she was indeed a vindictive woman..

I hope I haven't bored you with the long post.. But I felt the need to let you know.. (Maybe I should've PM'ed you..) 😕
This is perhaps one of the best works I've ever read.. And I don't mean the plot.. The plot is undoubtedly gripping but what's made it special is your portrayal of all the characters.. I absolutely admire all of them for their strength of character.. Kudos to you for having conceived this masterpiece.. 👏
