Wow, I was inactive on IF for w awhile and I come back to see how far this story progressed...amazing!

Payal & Akash got a daughter while Anjali-Shyam has a son...and Arnav-Khushi started getting back into the friendship then marriage mode. But oh what is about to happen? And it's sad to see this FF end too. Le sigh!

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE: THE DOOM

Mr. Roy had a heart attack. He was very happy and was dancing with his grand daughter Shalmali. But suddenly there was a phone call and he became very excited and he said something to Akash and Akash was also happy and he hugged Mr. Roy. But, sometime later Mr. Roy started feeling sweaty when everybody was dancing including Arnav and Khushi. He fell down suddenly.

He was old and had been sick for few months (old age). The excitement and enjoyment had exhausted and stressed him out.

He was rushed to the hospital. He had a heart attack.

But since he was checked in the very first stage, he was out of risk and within fifteen days he recovered completely, but the doctor mentioned that he must not get excited in any circumstances..be it good or bad.

Everyone thought that he had the heart attack in utmost happiness. Anjali too thought the same. But to her, it was not Arnav and Khushi's engagement only.

She remembered what happened that day.

### FLASHBACK ###

[Anjali: papa..you are very happy..

Mr. Roy: yes beta, I am. After all the disease is no more in our life. And all our lives had suffered sometime or the other for her. And our Khushi bitiya had suffered the most. She had been the scapegoat like my sister. But I am happy now. I didn't let her ruin Khushi like what happened to my sister.

Anjali didn't know what was the incident. (Check chapter 4).

Anjali: who is she? What are you talking about?

Mr. Roy: nothing beta. Old age. Don't know what I am talking about. I am so happy, I can't tell.

'tring'tring..tring..

Anjali: papa your phone..

Mr. Roy: yeah..NK's call'

He excused himself and left.

But his words were heard by Anjali.

Anjali's POV

What was there in NK's call? What was the relation of his Guru Dakhshina with his sister? What was the work that completed? What? Why? It is so confusing. Should I talk to him? No, if he feels sick. No..no..I can't do that. I think I should talk to shyam. He may help me out.No..No..I might be worrying about it unnecessarily..later I will see.

Anjali never spelt out a word and She forgot the matter soon. But what was the matter actually?

The phone call was from NK and he had transferred all the shares of Sanyukta's company by his power of Attorney. Later Sanyukta found herself in debt because of two things.

Firstly, Armaan had spent extravagantly and moreover by hiding from Sanyukta and for doing such notorious deeds he had spent a lot of money for those pictures and models and the contracts. For doing such jobs he had borrowed a lot of money in market, but he was the son of Sanyukta Sen the owner of Sen Industries and he had been quite generous when he lend money to his friends when they were in need so they also helped him. He was returning the money in due time when suddenly the accident occurred. Sanyukta came to know about it and when she came to know about it..six months had already passed and in this six months she had done another mistake which was the second reason for finding herself in debt.

Secondly, NK was working under Sanyukta. Mr. Roy had sent him to do the work so that in a perfect time when Sanyukta will rely and her trust will be broken and she will realise the value of trust and relations over money, she will repent and then Mr. Roy will tell her everything what NK had done and why. Mr. Roy wanted to teach her the lesson. In these six months she relied on NK like her own son and in grief of Armaan's death she blindly signed whatever papers were needed as NK was working for four years under her and he was the most dependable and loyal person she had found.

Meanwhile NK started transferring her shares to all the industries from where she had cheated and acquired the money including the Raizadas, Maliks, Singhanias and Guptas. All were returned to there from where it came from and the rest of the bulk amount outstanding from the capital was given to charities and hospitals and missionaries.

When she found herself ruined she thought of retrieving at least some money from Aman by blackmailing him.

After all she was Sanyukta Sen.

But things went wrong and Aman accused her in all possible ways and she couldn't stand the words and moreover she lost her power and money and everything even relations and she couldn't live even worse than a beggar. She killed herself in destitute.
