also I read an article two weeks ago during Christmas saying the same that he follows both religions. (can't find the article but it was put here by anu sakshi).

But his gotten married in a court wedding...what they were doing in pune "I think" is just a gathering of guests and sort of a reception for family and friends or perhaps they also had a hindu ceremony but the articles were all saying court wedding for Vivian Dsena...so most probably it was just a gathering what they are showing in pune...but I understand they are having another reception in Mumbai also.

Yes, you're right. They did have a court marriage. But I think it is his mom who is Hindu and dad Christian. Maybe they are doing a mixed marriage kind of a thing.

You know, I'm from UP and my husband is Bengali so at out wedding I chose all the fun Bengali rituals and all the fun rituals from UP and left out all the boring rituals. So it was a khichdi wedding 😉 😆

Yes it might be the other way around the dad that's a christian and mum the hindu and that's why he has the christian name perhaps...either way his both and following mixed faiths.

you from UP...I have to confess I don't know anything about UP faiths or Bengali rituals...though I lived with a Bengali couple before and all I know about them is they were muslim, liked to eat fish a lot and ate a lot of chillies. 😆 Unfortunately I never took any of their fish curry recipes which I now regret.
