Like many ppl on the forum I thought the uncle (forgot his name, sorry) would turn out to be Zoya's father. But now, I am thinking of another angle.
What if he is not Zoya's father but her uncle??
What if Zoya's mom was actually this guy's sister - not like Shireen - but his actual real sister?
Maybe Zoya's mom married someone that the uncle did not approve of. Maybe it broke his heart. See, I was thinking this guy has done so much for Shireen and they are not even related by blood.
So how far would he go for his real sister?
I kind of like this angle better. After finding his niece is alive and well, he would obviously feel a great responsibility to her. he would adore her as much as he loved his sister.
Then you have history repeating itself. Zoya loves Asad, uncle does not approve. And if Ayaan falls for Zoya, then the uncle is stuck between thinking of his daughter or his sister's daughter. If course his wife wol;d make Zoya miserable.
We could still have the tug of war between the uncle and Asad but then later on, we could have Zoya's father enter the scene and the men in her life try to protect her.
