Meanwhile, Maan was not aware of anything happening to Geet. The last evening's events had disturbed him to such an extent, that initially he had decided to immediately leave Amritsar, and go away at some place for camping, to take his mind off everything. But some urgent work detained him for one more day. Though, on not finding her in the office the next day, he got a little curious. But Adi told him that she had taken a leave. That's why he got a little puzzled when he saw her leaving from the office. She wasn't supposed to be there..was he imagining her there. But at that time he was to have a client conference call and so it was a little later that he called in Adi to confirm. He could not believe what Adi told him and was utterly shocked that Geet could do something like this. He was sure there was some reason behind all this. But before he could think further, he received a breach mail..

Kidnapper's place..

Geet didn't know where she had been taken since she had been blindfolded. Now she was getting nervous. She was confident about her plan and she also had full confidence in Maan, but right now she was all alone and was feeling like walking into the lion's den without actually knowing what kind of danger she was going to face there.

Once inside, her blindfold was opened, but there was a powerful bulb lighted over her head. So she could not properly see the faces of people around her.

"Too Miss Geet Handa. We met finally. By the way, tumahari himmat ki main daat dunga, jo tum khud yahan tak ayein. Vaise accha hi hai. Aab jab tum yahan ho, to koi hoshiyari nahi kar skti." He paused for a second, as if thinking of something "Khair, maine aapna vada pura kiya. Aab tumhari baari. Files!!"

Geet nervously reached inside her bag and gave them the files. Her prime motive right now was to identify the person in KC who was helping these kidnappers. The head of the kidnapper took the files and started going through them. But not for long. Soon a file came flying towards Geet "Yeh kya hai" thundered his voice. Geet feigning innocence, picked up the file and acted to check it, showing surprise. "Nahi. Nahi, yeh kaise ho sakta hai. Maine to files check karke hi li thi Adi sir se. Teeno Techno Computer ki hi thi. Main sach bol rhi hun, please mera yakeen kariye. Mujhe nahi pata yeh Ludhiyana project ki finance file kaise yahan aa gayi"

"Ladki, mujhse dhoka karne ka anjaam tu nahi janti. Isski bhut bhari keemat chukani padegi tujhe."

"Naahi, nahi please mera yakeen kariye. Agar mujhe aisa kuch karna hota to main yahaan kabhi nahi aati. Please mujhe ekk aur mauka de dejie. Ekk aur tarika hai uss file ko hasil karne ka. Mere paas abhi bhi admin rights hain. Mere computer se central database access karke in files ko download kiya ja sakta hai. Mujhe bas office ke LAN ko access karna hoga"

Her talks made sense to the kidnapper. Why would she have risked her life by giving the wrong file and still coming to him. Also she had not made any contact with anyone else at office and all her talks with Adi, he himself had monitored via phone, by the help of his aid in KC.

"Theek hai, par yeh tumahara aakhri mauka hai. Agar issme tumahari koi chalaki hui, to main tumahara who harshar karunga ki tum na jeene layak rahogi aur na hi marne. Aur hum tumhe vahan nahi bhejenge. Tum mere aadmi ko phone pe bataogi kya aur kaise karna hai. Aab jab woh file mere haath me hogi tab hi tum yahan se jaa paogi"

Geet was satisfied. Up till now everything was going as she had planned. She gave the instructions to that person on where to find the files and gave him her password. What they did not know was that just the previous day, Geet had handed over the admin rights to Adi and she no longer had access to any project related confidential files of KC. And if somebody tried to access those files from her login ID, a security breach email would be immediately sent to Maan, without the hacker getting aware about it. His screen will still show that the file is loading, but won't open. This will give enough time to Maan to identify the person and catch him. She was sure that once Maan catches that man, he'll trace these kidnappers here and get them arrested. She had taken a really big risk with her life here, but she had full faith in Maan. He won't let anything happen to her.

Khurana Constructions..

On receiving the mail, the whole picture started becoming clearer to Maan. He knew for sure now that Geet was in some serious trouble. He gave quick instructions to Adi, to immediately trace Geet's mobile and get her location. He also asked Adi to call her home once to if they were aware of her being kidnapped, without raising any suspicions though if they were not aware. Also he asked Adi to alert the security of the whole building to not let anyone leave the building.

Maan then rushed to Geet's cabin.

Karan was still waiting for the files to open. Though the time it was taking, he had started getting suspicious and was about to make the call when he found Maan standing with folded hands on the gate of the cabin, staring at him with wild angry eyes.

"Shit. Geet u b****!!!" swore Karan in a low voice.

"Maaan, aap yahan. Woh mujhse Geet ke computer se kuch files leni thi. Ppparty reated. In fact Geet ne hi mujhse bol diya tha lene ko, uska password bhi ussi ne diya hai" he knew that Maan knew his true motives, but he was trying to buy some time. He was edging towards the gate, but Maan immediately blocked his way and was about to pounce on him, when he pulled out a revolver from his pocket.

"Vahi ruk jao Maan, aage badhne ki koshish bhi mat karna. Tumhe kya laga tha itni aasani se pakad loge tum mujhse. Bechari bholi Geet. Par itni hoshiyari nahi dikhani chayia thi usse. Seedhe seedhe hamara kaam kar deti, to shayad bach jati. Paar tumahare iss Khurana Constructions ko bachane ke liyia, ussne aapni jaan ke baare me to socha hi nahi. Ch ch ch ch ch.. Bechari, tumahare pyaar me padke khudki hi bali chadva li. Vaise tumne bhi na Maan sahi ladki phasi. Bholi bhali, seedhi saadhi , pyaari Geet. Par afsoos tum uska kuch fayada nahi le paye. Khair, tum koi aur dhoondh lena, iss Geet se hum kaam chala lete hain.. ha ha ha.." Maan's blood boiled with rage at his last lines. Karan was standing near the table, inching towards the gate. Maan pushed the table, which hit Karan in his stomach. Maan grabbed this opportunity and attacked him, snatching away his pistol. Maan beat him a lot, dragging him out towards the exit of the office.

Maan was mad with anger at his comments on Geet. When Karan was well beaten, Maan picked him from his shoulders "Geet kahan hai. Kahan rakha hai tum logo ne Geet ko"

But Karan started laughing like maniacs "Geet ko to aab bhool hi jao Maan Singh Khurana. Aab to tumhe usski laash hi milegi"

"Kaaaraaan.." and Maan gave him a deadly blow in his face. He landed on a security guard who was standing there.

Karan acted swiftly and grabbed the security guard's rifle and pointed it on his head. "Aage mat badhna Maan varna main isse goli maar dunga. Mujhe jaane do."

Maan had to stop himself there. Karan had a hostage now and he moved out of the office. Pulled the guard with him in his car and drove away. Just outside KC's gate, he pushed the guard out of his car and raced away from there. At that point Maan could not chase him since right now his priority was to first save Geet. He sent his security after Karan and called Adi. "Adi, Geet ka kya status hai. Usski location mili kya?"

"Yyyeesss sir, humne Geet ke cell ke last signals trace kar liye hain. Main abhi aapko usski exact location deta hun"

"Theek hai Adi main abhi vahan punchta hun. Tum bhi jaldi police ko leke aa jao vahan" and Maan madly drove his car towards that place. His heart was beating frantically. "Geet main aa rha hun, main tumhe kuch nahi hone dunga"

Kidnapper's place..

The kidnapper received a phone call. His whole body was shaking with anger on listening to the call. He smashed his phone and immediately rushed towards Geet and grabbed her neck. "Geet maine tujhe warn kiya tha na, ki koi hoshiyaari maat karna. Lagta hai tujse dhang se samajh nahi aaya tha. Theek hai to, aab bhugat aapni hoshiyaari ka natija. Brij Chaudhary se dhoka karne waala aaj tak zinda nahi bacha hai. Tera to main woh haal karunga ki maut bhi aane se katrayegi tujhe" and he gave Geet a tight slap.

Geet fell down hard. She was horrified, how had the kidnapper come to know all this. Did Maan not catch that person at the office, was there no one coming to save her. Had her savior failed her this time. The men had formed a circle around her and were slowly closing in. Geet was utterly terrified and did the only thing she could do.. "Maaannn"

Maan reached the address Adi had given him, but found the house deserted. He was on his edges. He was afraid to get too late. He had to find Geet. He would not let anything happen to her. She had risked her life for him, she had faith in him that he would save her. He cannot fail her. He was frantically searching the whole place, when suddenly he heard a girl's faint cry. It seemed it was coming from some other place. He came out of the house and started following the scream, which kept on getting louder. At some distance from the house, he saw a barn. The screaming was coming from there only. He rand towards it as fast as he could, but found it locked from inside. He rushed back to his car.
