Hi everyone :)
This season started during my holidays,and I was really happy to realize that I'll get to watch it for 3 weeks during holidays, but I'm not really content with the way the show is proceeding this season for the following reasons, feel free to agree/disagree.
1. I am not a huge fan of Shilpa, if this show had been about fitness then I'd be really happy to see her as one of the judges, but this is about dance, and I have no idea why she was chosen as a judge.
2. This is one of everybody's complaints, I don;t know why Sajid Khan was chosen. He has no knowledge of dance and is very expressive, I mean if he doesn't like something his co judges are saying then he immediately shows it with his face. Plus, he doesn't know much about dance, and what's with his entertainment-entertainment-entertainment theory?? He needs to take a look at the past seasons of NB and realize the kind of high-level performances that MADE NB get the popularity that it has.
3. I like Gautam Rode, and I kinda like Wahi too, but I feel like there is something lacking in their hosting. It's not fun to watch. The angrezi style announcements have GOT TO GO!! It really would be better if there was one female host and one male host.
4. The judging is so not fair.period. I mean I should have expected this with judges like Shilpa and Sajid because I really don't think that they have an understanding of what appears to be dance to viewers. They liked Shefali-Parag whom I though just exercised. If one watches the dance again then it really appears like they are stretching. Their focus wa smore on trying to look like a HOT pair, and for some reason all 3 judges just loved it. I am not a HUGE fan of Suhasi so I'm not defending her, but I REALLY felt like her and her hubby did much better. When they were re-playing the performances of the day, I could clearly tell who put in more work.
Yeah, so in summary, the hosting and judging is pretty UNimpressive..My dream 3 judges would have been Terrence Lewis who ACTUALLY knows what hes talking about except when he thought Shefali-Parag deserved a PERFECT 11, Vaibhavi Merchant, and Shiamak Davr.
For the hosts, I'll be a little biased here, I like the bubbly nature of these 3 popular TV actresses : Krystle Dsouza,, Kritika Kamra and Nia Sharma so I woulda loved to see one of them with either Rode or Wahi. Anyway, sayinga lll this is a waste now, because it can't be changed now, but maybe, if there is a next season, these wishes of mine will come true. Just curious to know what you all think, so do comment!
