Hope the creatives read india-forums topics sometime atleast to know what are the views of the viewers

It is true that Assad has a reserved personality but conversations don't have to emotionally open...but conversations in general like the arguing over who knows the most about cricket. The more interaction, the more they learn about each other. Why did we like the scene yesterday - it was interaction...the scene on Monday - interaction. Every time they are together they do interact and the more the communicate over things, the more they learn about each other, the more they can grow. However, these two really have not had a conversation - here's hoping once one of these two is attracted to the other, it will start.

Even Zoya asking Dilshaad about Assad's childhood was awesome...she was learning something about him and so were we...it's these little moments that build depth to the characters and the storyline...something that is often missing from many dramas.

@ laila.
i do agree with your post ...in most shows the couple is hating each other and then suddenly they are in love...what happened that they fell in love with some one they were hating a week ago is never clear to the viewer...
anyways i have hopes from this show...and I want to believe that yesterday was a beginning made for a heart to heart talk between zoya and asad..
the connect will be the photograph that Asad figured out for Zoya yesterday
..I have a feelng ( rather hope) that Asad will help Zoya in her search for her Dad ...

I hope so too...the CV of this show is very talented; I have liked her work and have seen some wonderful work from her that is a breath of fresh air compared to many writers. I hope she does read these posts and is willing to do something different.

True, I wouldn't want the love to just happen all of a sudden but maybe after some emotional bonding. But right now there is no love track going on... so I'm ok with the lack of emotional bonding or friendship at this point. Right now Asad and Zoya are just two people who happen to stay at the same place; they don't particularly hate each other but they just happen to get irritated with each other's behaviours or characteristics...

very well written Laila and sums up our feeling so well...when can't the CVs think the way the majority of us do...I am so bored with this totally black and white characters being shown...intitally when they showed these things it was something different...but now its so damn boring...we really yearn for some intelligient conversations...emotional bonding...but here its zilch...and the way the zoya was behaving this week don't see much hope in the show as of now...

The thing is that if they show Asad and Zoya to have developed good understanding, how will they justify their separation and the introduction of a third angle Ayaan?

The unspoken love is what creates the drama, angst, passion that keeps audience hooked.

As a compromise, I think they will show that both Assd and Zoya get to know each other but through Najma's, Dilshaad and everyday happenings rather than regular heart to heart talks. They might even give us 1-2 such interactions before Asad is bombed with the news of Ayans interest in Zoya. Thereafter we might see him withdraw into his shell leaving Zoya feeling rejected and without answers.

They could, with a little bit of creativity 😊
