The magnum opus small screen show by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Saraswatichandra", based on the novel by the same name, has been in the news for quite some time, for want of the female lead. After Jennifer Winget opting out of the show, several names like, Sanaya Irani, Shraddha Nigam, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Barkha Bisht were considered an approached for the role. But unfortunately things did not seem to materialize and it was back to square one for the show.
Now, the latest about the show is, the makers not having found a suitable female lead, have gone back to their first choice, Jennifer Winget. Whatever, the past differences between the, actress and the production house, is being ironed out, by both the concerned parties.
With the first schedule of the show having already being shot in Dubai with its main lead, Gautam Rode, the next schedule will in all probability see Jennifer taking charge of the female lead."Saraswatichandra" is scheduled to hit the small screen by February 2013.
