This is just a fun post. As several people have pointed out in the past, PV appears to be a contemporary spin-off on the Ramayana. In today's episode, Kaikeyi in the form of Tai entered into the picture and caused Yash and Arati to be banished from the Scindhia Palace. In the Ramayana, Rama leaves the palace because to protect a promise made by his father to Kaikeyi; in PV, Yash decides to leave the house to honour the marriage vows taken with Arati. Sita follows Rama into a life of hardship, saying that she cannot live without him, while Yash follows Arati, saying that being separated from her is a greater punishment than being banished from the paternal home. Sita was pregnant upon her return to Ayodhya, after the forest exile, and by some controversial accounts abandoned while she was pregnant. Arati is pregnant as she is being banished, and although abandoned by the family, Yash is very much with her. Dasharatha, Rama's father, could not survive the separation from Rama, and died heartbroken after the departure of Rama and Sita. It would be interesting to see whether Papa SP or Mama G3 will be shown to develop health problems following Arati and Yash's exit.
Now, the next track looks to be vanavasa, or living in a down-sized exile of sorts, away from loved ones and luxuries of palace life. This would be an important track, and it would be nice if Yash and Arati really went somewhere else to start their lives rather than just live in the Scindhia outhouse. But this is a modern-day Ramayana, and therefore anything can happen.
It was during the vanavasa, or the forest exile life of Rama and Sita that Sita was abducted by Ravana. Similarly, in PV, we might anticipate an Ansh abduction track in the same fashion, by our modern Ravana, Prashant.
In the Ramayana, Rama's brothers, Bharat and Laxman played significant roles in supporting Rama. Bharat ruled the kingdom on behalf of Rama, while Laxman helped Rama all the way, even warring with the demon king, Ravana. It will be interesting to how Panku and Pratz step in to help Yash sort out his affairs, defeat the nefarious plans of Prashant, and endear him and Arati back into the family.
