Priyanka Chopra is roped in for female lead in Milan Talkies

It has been officially confirmed that Priyanka Chopra will be playing the female lead role in Ekta Kapoor's forthcoming production Milan Talkies. Priyanka will be paired opposite Imran Khan for the first time, with the film being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. The news was confirmed by Ekta herself, who mentioned the following to a leading Indian newspaper: "I can confirm that Milan Talkies will go into production in August and there is no doubt that Priyanka will feature opposite Imran."

Priyanka will begin work on the film as soon as she has completed shooting for the remake to Zanjeer, as well as YRF's Gunday. According to the director, the film is a pure love story and will see Priyanka playing the role of a small-town girl. "The crux of the story is that even though communication has become easy thanks to mobile phones and everything, it is still difficult to fall in love in small towns."

There is too much speculation on the films I'm apparently doing..with false news doing the rounds as confirmation.The only films I'm doing as yet this year are Krrish 3,Zanjeer,Gunday,Mary Kom and Milan talkies! Pls wait for production houses to make announcements before spreading false information.
