Hello fellow Balika Vadhu fans,
There has been a lot of frustration here recently with regards to Anandi, Shiv and their SR. Here is just a snippet from my personal view...feel free to throw tomatoes if you disagree ;)
I can understand where Anandi is coming from. Each individual is different. Even without a painful prior relationship I feel that a lot of girls may feel scared, anxious and unprepared for intimacy after marraige. Personally, I don't think I would be able to initiate physical intimacy with someone (even my husband) until I am fully emotionally invested in him. I would hope that the other person gives me time. He's not the right person for me if he doesn't. Society might think that it's a husbands RIGHT to physical intimacy, I say that it's a choice/decision made by TWO individuals.
Anandi has not reached that understaning, comfort level and love with shiv yet. Her fear is very valid, specially since she has the added baggage of a painful past and insecurities related to that. I don't think her flashbacks are related to any attachment for Jagya. She is purely showing the audiance why she is fearful of love. I love the realistic approach that Balika Vadhu is using. I urge fans to just be patient.
I can also understand Shiv's point of view. With all the rasams and Anandi's attempt to open up with him, Shiv has just gotten caught up in the moment and knows no other way to show Anandi his emotions. Men think differently than women. Once he realizes that his show of affection is making Anandi uncomfortable, I'm sure he will go slow.
I am also a little frustrated but only because I feel like they are stretching this a little bit. In mature relationships two people need to communicate their expectations. Anandi has a right as a wife, and woman to say hey, lets wait a bit before we come to this point in our relationship. Shiv should also communicate that he understands and is willing to give her all the time she needs; however he hopes that she will not feel uncomfortable around him and will keep an open mind/heart when it comes to their relationship.
